Can you combine the current Amazon Inferno deal with the Buddy Program?

has anyone tried to combine this limited time offer:

The $5 Amazon deal (US only) gives you a product CD key which can be used to activate a trial account (even a buddy one).

Keep in mind what we state in the Terms and Conditions of the Buddy Program:

"Payments not eligible for this offer: Direct Debit, CD Keys, including CD Keys purchased or received from non-CCP sources and online stores such as, but not limited to: Steam Store, Direct2Drive, Gamers Gate, Impulse Driven."

The ONLY exception to this rule is the Commissioned Officer CD key. No other CD keys can be combined with the Buddy Program!

This is however a rather awesome offer by itself, so go nuts creating new accounts :)

I got really lucky with the buy orders when this first came out, and managed to make about 5.5b from spending the amount of two GTC's Twisted

So does that mean i am no longer eligible to receive a plex through the buddy program since i have activated the the account with a non eligible offer?

What about someone (mainly me) who JUST created another acct less then a week ago?
I was thinking on filing a petition asking, but since you're here I thought I'd ask!

2 things:

1) Usually this is NOT CCP's fault, so ignorant people on this forum need to understand international licensing laws with electronic and download-based products. Usually it's the laws in *your* country not allowing the sale from that specific vendor (In this case, Amazon). So to Regan and Rogue Ant, please understand how wrong you are in blaming CCP for this, go complain to your own lawmakers regarding electronic goods and services.

2) Can this "CD Key" code be activated on a Steam Trial account? Is that a question I should direct to Steam?

Aww now shucks...i did not realize I was ignorant asking a simple question - I reread my post and I don't see me blaming anyone for this - Upon further review - yes I did ask a questions - why not have this available all over?

Now the only ignorant remark and post was yours - and I would perhaps think before you post next time.

I am not asking for this to be made available through Amazon - what I asked what why is this not available all over - either from Amazon OR any other third party vendor OR from CCP directly. I think its a great way for CCP to get some additional accounts and applaud them for it.

I am neither wrong nor ignorant - and won't lower myself to respond in kind. I will let the ISDs deal with the likes of you.
