Probably not the first thread on this subject and it won't be the last till they fix that UGLY MOA!!!Lol

CCP wish list: show damage on ships and open that door!

I agree. It's a cruiser after all. To be able to *cruise* the Moa needs a sleek hull. CCP Ytterbium made jokes about the Moa hull recently. So there is hope we get a nice new version some day.

What's your beef with "Duck with suitcase"? It's a classic Blink.

Just go a bit farther: How about consistent aesthetic design guideline for the various factions?

e.g.

Caldari: "origami"-like, polygonal structures (get rid of the standard "flying brick")
Amarr: flying ... err ... cylinders, rounded shapes with a hint of H.R. Giger
Minmatar: delicate, insect-like constructions
Gallente: spaceships that actually look like spaceships

etc.

Well we know which race you favor. Gallente is my favorite too!

I approve this message

While the model is somewhat of a classic, I just can't get over how ugly the ships are to fly any of them.

CCP has done great work with other Caldari remodels so please work your magic on the Moa.

True. Amarr ships are most consistent imo. You find the same design idea on almost every Amarr ship. Long-drawn curves which are interrupted by a sharp edge. I think this consistent design makes Amarr very appealing.

Caldari has two styles atm: the boxy one (Caracal, both Badgers, Moa, Bantam, BB, ...even drones: Wasp). Then the more sleek shapes of the Tengu, Drake, Ferox, Naga, Raven, Scorp and the new Ibis. Tbh I really prefer the latter one.

Same for Gallente imho. Old Gallente style with a lot of non-uniform curves (Brutix, Vexor, Dominix, Thorax, Celestis, Exequror...). Then the newer, more 'straight-line curved' ships like the new Velator, Talos, Proteus.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

It's so ugly looking it's beautiful('ish). So is the Gila. CCP already killed the Scorp IMO, don't do it to another ship I like! Lol

I actually liked the Scorps' old asymmetrical, stubby winged, this looks 'funky' shape. I think the new Scorp looks gimmicky with it's 'It's called a *Scorpion* ... get it? A "Scorpion" ....' look.

*shrug* Of course - I'm also in here saying the Moa hull looks fine as it is too, so... Roll

how dare they make a ship look like its name.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

I thought it was a bird thing? It appears to be some sort of ancient Emu like thing, and it's pretty damn ugly to be fair.

When I first started I trout the Mao looked terrible when flying it ( didn't get the whole picture from the thumbnail ).

That said, I now love it and I would be crushed if my page boat changed. The v3 made it look pretty sweet with high enough graphics settings and I have grown fond of my tourist turkey with his suitcase...
