Extra midslot, 25% less shields, 25% more armor

Purpose: allow them to actually fit a reasonable number of TDs and encourage a light armor tank rather than a shield/nano tank.

This will be especially necessary if the Missile TD effect is done by a different module.

you dare challenge the reign of the nano-shield curse? Evil an armor tank slows you down and uses low slots that could house DDAs, so you don't have the dps and speed of a capuchin monkey with a slingshot.

Curse is supposed to be shield i think.

Shield-nano curse is awesome.

Give them more mid slots so they can armor tank. I don't understand.

It knows what you think.

No its not, in the Curses description its armor plating is mentioned.

Its supposed to carry a fuckton of TD's, thats why it has all those mids... As to the DDA's in the lows, the curse really isn't a solo ship, its a fleet ship. Its supposed to be TD/neut support.

Just fired up EFT to do a bit of warrioring.

Shield Curse can fit more medium neutralizers. It's also faster, more agile, and has more EHP. It even has more capacitor and a higher cap recharge rate.

I fail to see how adding another midslot would encourage the use of armor tanking when the advantages of shield tanking are so clear.

edit: just because a ship has a bonus to do a certain thing... doesn't mean it NEEDS to take advantage of it. By the same token... just because a ship is supposed to tank a certain way, doesn't mean players NEED to tank it that way.
For example: I've used shield-gank Hyperions, Myrmidons, and Brutixes to great effect... completely ignoring their active tanking bonus.

This is my point. Currently curse works MUCH better shield tanked. It should be adjusted so that this is not the case (or at least armor tank is a viable alternative.

My suggestion was to drastically lower its shield HPs and increase its armor HPs to encourage armor tanking. This could also be done by increasing PG and lowering CPU
