Honestly I have NO idea whether or not there are sports fans here. I always assumed there was a diverse group of people playing this, so I figured I would create a rage thread regarding the game.

Now to spark the flame.....Tate had possession, Hawks won fair and square. Yes I

I too enjoy watching grown, hairy, and sweaty men in tight pants run around and jump on each other while playing with balls.

- Very original.

I'm a Seahawks fan and that was an interception. Doesn't matter though, Tate should have been called for a push-off anyway.

I am upset that a game that featured one of the leagues best defenses pretty much shutting down one of the leagues best offenses will be overshadowed by the leagues worst second guessing.

Fought off the band of ninjas that attacked me.
Where was I?

Ultimately if the refs did their job, that final play wouldn't have happened and the Hawks would've won anyways.

I like wearing my Cheesehead to costume parties in Europe....

Green Bay was robbed.

The tagline should have been "Wilson throws game winning Hail Mary INTERCEPTION to beat the Packers"

Think the NFL got the message because the labor dispute was quickly resolved.

For the European soccer snobs out there:
American football is just a far superior game, accept it.
For strategy, depth and coordination of vastly different skill sets and body types, it can't be beat.
Even football coaches are indispensible participants, rather than simply being a glorified cheerleader.

But if you insist on your sports being simplistic....
They've already invented a better version of soccer. Its called ice hockey.
Faster paced, with 200% more fighting.

Premier League? LOL $200 for seats at a Newcastle United game for my GF and I.
.......and I nearly dozed off halfway through. Hey, it was warm out.

Some of us enjoy the tailgate parties too, sitting on the back of the pickup on a warm Midwestern fall evening, grilling brats and sauerkraut, listening to the game on the radio outside the station while floating your liver on Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Oh, and, ravens ftw. Browns are terrible as usual.

Possession is determined not when a player is in the ground but by retaining control until they hut the ground with both feet or the body or can make a "football move" if they remain on their feet. Wilson and Jennings both had possession as they came to the ground, therefore it is a simultaneous catch. In a tie, the tie goes to the offensive player. Sure the refs missed the offensive pass interference, but that is not reviewable.

Anyone that keeps insisting that Jennings intercepted it clearly needs to stop listening to commentators and read the damn rulebook.

If Jennings had made the correct play and batted the pass down, this wouldn't even be in debate. That was all he needed to do to ensure the win in a horribly officiated game.

I too enjoy hanging out with other overly loud and usually quite large and obnoxious people while sitting in the heat, so that I might promote men playing with each other.
