Hmmm... You're pretty angry. Was it just my forum PVP that violated you or did I also do so in game to one of your alts? This is your second angry and off topic post in this thread, so inquiring minds want to know!

You're just obnoxious. And it's not off topic. You're leaving. As others have agreed with this sentiment in this thread I say again, good riddance.

EDIT:

Big smile Don't flatter yourself with calling your own lack of any logical thought process or ability to reason at a higher level "forum PvP"

Oh I think I know who you are lol. Still mad yea? Oh well, I haven't given you a second thought. Nor shall I hence forth. Lol

Obviously you are giving me a second thought since you're still responding to me. This poor attempt at trolling is still the best you're capable of and you'll never be capable of any better. Sad, really.

What assumptions? I made no assumptions. I read your post, and gave my reaction. No assumptions required.

Eternum Praetorian wrote:
You stated my post conveyed some kind of unhealthy perspective when compared to your own "wild new Zealand" way of thinking.

Those posts are out of sequence. I stated my view of your OP. Then you shat on me, by calling me a 'dreamless sloth', to which I defended myself by describing some of the relevant parts of my life.

Eternum Praetorian wrote:
You had absolutely no clue of who I was or under what context my post was made. You just assumed and you assumed incorrectly.

Assumed what???? I asserted my feeling on the original post. Who you are, and your history doesn't have any relevance to that reflection, only the content of your original post. You could be anyone... anyone at all... and have made that post, and my reaction would still have been the same, as that reaction has nothing to do with you.

The world does not revolve around you.

Eve is about the journey.  If you are so focused on making money, that you insist on having the tools to make it be made as autonomous and easy as possible, then you are never going to have as much fun as I will.

So much anger Methesda. To bad you can't escape your own shadow half way around the world yea? No matter how far we run, ourselves and the problems that we inadvertently cause for ourselves continue to follow. Release your hate young Jedi, you will be a happier extreme New Zealand survivor man.

Put down the keyboard... get up and go climb that epic mountain outside your window!

Your closed mindedness deserves no better reply then this. So enjoy and try not to have an aneurism in Idaho. Or was it Wisconsin?

Well TBH you're kind of like a smelly shoe that I left in the closet. Not a second thought until it makes itself known again. Then you are like "oh yea... that smell" before moving on with your life and forgetting about it again. You're kind of like that really, not the shoe but the smell.

And now back on topic!

You're going to have to step your game up. This is just a pathetic analogy that doesn't even make sense. You're giving me a second thought right now whether you like to admit it or not.

Yes, I suppose you would like to get back to your whining and moaning. I tell you what. Try biomassing. You'll never have to experience the disappointment of Eve again.

You fail to address any of my questions, yet you speak of close mindedness. Then you talk about me having an aneurism in Idaho.

Either come back to me with a reasoned response, or admit that you are overboard, in the wrong, and the 'hate' you describe is coming from one direction. You.

YOU are the one leading off topic, when you start abusing people with a differing opinion from yourself, then you defend yourself with more insults.

Leave already.

One thing I have passively enjoyed is hassling people like the two above me. CCP calls this the "EVE Community". I would much prefer a community that was not the dredges of the gaming universe.

Once the forums were filled with people who wanted to help and were interested in having a genuine conversation about the game. They were prod of PVP exploits and inspired by pilots like kil2 and various others that I will not name, but are now all but forgotten. Now it is just a place where slinging hate and stupidity has become the normal. Over the past few months i have actually been on on ther gaming forums. I have not been on the WOW forum, but I can say that in my searching I have discovered that EVE has some of the worst, most disagreeable, most immature and generally asinine group of trolls of any forum. The mods are not much better. That is also the reason why most of the eve universe no longer bothers to come here.

I am not (nor have I been for a very long time) proud to be part of this septic tank of a community.

You're just narcissistic enough to actually think that you're not the one who causes the problem... It must be everyone else, and you're perfect above all of them in your posting ability.

In reality you haven't ever once brought anything worthwhile to the table on these forums. All you've done is poor, unclever trolling.

The problem here is you.

I have been a member of this community for the years that you are speaking of, and frankly, there have always been people like you. Very happy to call out what's wrong with everything and everyone else, whilst all the time sounding like they're rattling off a list of their own neuroses, and character flaws.

Have fun with that, on the next poor sod whom you believe is in need of your 'enlightenment'.

Good riddance.

Have you like... even clicked on the link in my signature? What have you done for the EVE community? People like you just don't make sense, you vomit random ideas and present it like doctrine.

Irrelevant, purile, and still failing to address any useful issues. Just name-calling.

See my previous post.

I'm sorry if you fail to see how one person can do the things that I've done. I'm sorry, but also quite flattered, as I don't really consider myself to be out of the ordinary.

You say the same **** to me however, and I have about 25 active accounts that are either mine or friends of mine whom I started off in the game.

However its still appeal to authority logical fallacy when either of us uses it, I.E. BULLSHIT.

Just sayin'.

Take it to PMs guys. Nobody wants to read this ****. Now back to topic...

Eve does indeed lack wonder, mystery, grandeur... I think my problem is that my favorite aspect of games is exploration. Finding shiny objects in the act of exploration is a bonus. Exploration is my favorite profession in Eve but I doubt it could ever live up to my experiences in Asherons Call or Morrowind because it is set in space. I do love sci-fi, but there is nothing much to see and explore in space. Its... space. Floating towers, silos, and pleasure hubs will never be interesting no matter how they are arranged in space. You really need a land-based environment to have impressive exploration experiences. The only thing that Eve has over other games in this arena is the conflict with other players. Its too bad Dust is a console shooter, and not a sci-fi themed yet land-based PC MMORPG that is linked with Eve and allows characters to move between games. Though, if it were done well I would probably have little inclination to return to space. My poor Rifter would develop rust on top of its rust.

^ see and asshat has posted, you can tell by his insistence to not post on topic and misread people's postings. I for example read the last part "my rifter will collect rust on top of rust" and I discern that this is a lament that an incarna done well may have undesirable effect.

And since i am not an asshat I will not presume to put words in that posters mouth, and if he chooses to post again with a reasonable and respectable correction i would be happy to listen. All asshats however will be effectively counter trolled for no other reason then my own amusement.

I'm lost with this. Your english doesn't make sense, apart from the last part.

I am deeply saddened that you think you can get away with insulting people (not just me I might add) and be left thinking that you've done nothing wrong.
