eft works with the old api and is being worked on at the moment to use the new ones. you can still set up a working 'old' api key from account management.

As mentioned above, Pyfa works with the new API keys. I've only started using it in earnest last week myself and it is indeed an amazing tool.

Since EveMon works with the new api, you can export your current character from EveMon to your EFT characters folder.

Downloaded and used Pyfa for the first time today, Holy Smoke!! Talk about a well-crafted Eve tool!
Love it, love the ability to compare one fit against the other. Excellent stuff and Kudos to Kadesh Priestess for this.

You mean that feature we have had in EFT for years?

What are you talking about? This game is filled with "Fitting Tools". Just look around space a bit and you'll run into them everywhere.

EFT works well with old API version, you're doing it wrong??

Pyfa works perfectly with new API version, you're doing it wrong??

One will be updated when it will be ready and since all you need for fits is your skills then new or old version is all the same, no need to cry.

Or you can also start building your own. Rude questions rude answers.

Let me change the op's question.

When will THE GAME have a working fitting tool?

Tbh, that would be quite an addition.

Not only do you guys get the math 100% right,
you could also implement it with much greater detail and information
than anybody else ever could.

With all shiny graphics and stuff. ^^
