Ok so I've finished all the profession mission tutorials in Uitra. Now what? Where to go now?

No matter what interests you (even if it is mining or industry), first join up with a bunch of bittervet PvPers and learn how to blow people up. This will teach how to avoid getting blown up yourself and protect your interests in the future.

Also you'll end up having fun as those people don't treat Eve like a 2nd job

Honestly it depends on what you want to do.

Like many others, the first places i would suggest you try are Eve-Uni or Red v Blue.

The former can help you with any aspect of eve really, while the latter is good for learning the ropes in PvP.

Whatever you decide, rule 1: have fun.

See you in space.

Have to disagree about RvB, it's fun but it's not going to teach you jack I'm afraid. In real PvP you get yelled at for screwing up like if you accidentally panic and drop a bubble around your own fleet in 0.0 because it was my first time in null P

I agree and disagree with this sentiment.

RvB does do a few good things:
- it aquatints a player with the concept of throwing ships into combat and not taking their loss too seriously
- it helps players get a feel for PvP in a general sense
- if a player is intelligent enough, they can learn the basics of ship to ship combat (ex. what to engage, what not to engage, how to generally fit a ship in an optimal way, etc).
- get you in touch with other players and build friendships that you can use later on (this is a big one)

What RvB does not teach is:
- disciple in gang and fleet combat
- skirmish warfare (ex. engaging targets over a whole grid and/or system)
- meta-gaming (ex. devising tactics and fits based on what you think the enemy may have)
- how to use mechanics outside of combat to enhance your chances of survival and/or decease your target's survival (ex. warping to celestial "clusters" to evade people chasing you, bumping mechanics to get people off station/gate, etc.)
- engaging well above and well below your ship's class
- using bait and other "unfair" tactics to ensure victory

I suggest go visit Sister Alitura in Arnon and work your way through the first epic arc mission series. Not only does it make you maximise your capabilities but it also gives you a fair wad of cash and some nice assets.

What is it with this: What to do now / Where to go now / I finished the tutorials, what do I have to do now threads every week.

Quick answer: Find it out yourself

Longer answer: EVE is a sandbox. This means you can do anything you want. I really think that Mr. OP has played WoW / GW2 / < insert name of rollercoaster MMO > and has reached level < insert level cap > there and want to try EVE out.

Well EVE is different, in EVE there are no limits on what you can and can't do, well okay there are 2 limits: there is the restrictions on trial accounts and there is the EULA / ToS which you can't breach.

So good luck finding out what you can do. Only real advice: If you don't have fun doing what you currently are doing, it isn't what you should do. EVE is a game, have fun playing it.

Best advice, that's why i would recommend to try a bit of everything. It's normal to not know what you want to do yet, you are just starting.
Raising basic skills to level 2 only ask 1-2 hours. Meaning that you can really start a lot of different activities and get a feel of it in the next days. Then when you know what you like it will be worth to plan your skills' training. For now just try everything you can !
