pirate faction modules are really dumb as their creation is intrinsically linked to ISK creation.

edit: would you hedge against falling oil prices (due to oversupply) by investing in natural gas?
Probably not as most natural gas is a byproduct of oil production.
Similarly faction modules are a byproduct of two very important ISK faucets - ratting and mission running.
As there are other isk faucets (insurance etc) the supply of faction items will not track increases in the quantity of money 1:1 but then I would expect a larger share of them to make it to the market than of the simultaneously generated ISK.
I am sure you will find better instruments for hedging against inflation.

First you must find... another shrubbery!

Then, when you have found the shrubbery, you must place it here, beside this shrubbery, only slightly higher so you get a two layer effect with a little path running down the middle.

Alliance tournament rewards.

Put your isk into a guardian-vexor, freki, utu or malice.

Since no more of them will ever be created, I can't imagine the price ever falling.

I was looking more at protecting value than making money.

There are several things you could invest in that will make some people very rich, especially once the winter patch hits.

Short term Goon activity, fewer ICE miners, more expensive fuel = fewer POS, care bears will rush to PI to replace lost income.
PI will be over supplied and fall in value.

SC nerf = more demand for Titans and bulk minerals.
