Since i moved my eve client onto another hard drive i keep getting the same "Groundhog Day" scenario each time i try to load EVE. It goes something like this:-

Double-click the Eve shortcut
The initial Eve splash displays, shortly followed by a corrupt installation message. The files flagged as being in error appear to chance each time.
I run the repair tool and it tells me, very quickly, that it has completed its task.
Try to run Eve again and it fails with the same message.
Delete the offending file(s), usually from the bin folder.
Run repair, which takes a little longer as it has to download the replacment files
Run Eve and apparent success.
Eve then asks me to select OK to install patch 4, which as i have no option, i duly do

Eve then appears to work as intended, but then i am faced with exactly the same problem the following day, including the Patch 4 bit.

Can somebody please give me some help on this, as although i can eventually get to play the game, I am sure you will understand that this is somewhat more complicated and time-consuming than it should be.

Thanks in advance.

Oh and no i dont have any viruses or a faulty system.

Sounds like you should recheck your HDD (run Scandisk in intensive mode), especially if it's a older one. There might be a hardware issue on the position your EVE files are saved.

Yup, did that already and no problems reported. It's a brand new velociraptor btw. Oh and EVE is still behaving like it's groundhog day. ;(
