t3 drone boat

I believe that there should be a t3 drone boat. Maybe make it a faction t3 since the four races already have them. But, the other main weapons, missile, hybrid guns, projectile, and lazer all have t3 ships. But, hybrid guns suck, as yes i know they are being rebalanced, but we will see what that is when it happends. But drones are left out. Id like to see if there could be a drone boat that could do upwards of 800 dps when faction fit with normal drones, heavies and sentries. Some people will say the ishtar is a good enough drone boat, however 530 dps with sentries and rigs is a far cry from what the tengu can do.

That is all, i think if they came out with a t3 drone boat, it would be my new favorite show.

Bonus:

5% bonus to medium hybrid turret damage per level
10% bonus to drone damage per level
7.5% bonus to drone hitpoints per level


Legion Offensive - Drone Synthesis Projector

Bonus:


10% bonus to medium energy turret capacitor use per level
10% bonus to drone damage per level
7.5% bonus to drone hitpoints per level

Is there something more that you need?

Well I'm saying that there are 2 drone subsystems for T3 ships, and I'm wondering what more the OP wants.

One of the proteus engineering subsystems gives a bonus to drones as well..
It can field 4 heavy drones. That isn't too bad.

4 drones isn't too GOOD, either, unfortunately.

It is when you can field a 200k ehp tank. Or a near cap stable active armor tank with a 50% repping bonus.

I little known fact is that you can actually use t3 cruisers outside of wormholes. P
But I agree, taking drones into a wormholes is a bad idea.

This is accurate for I am in the process of Tengu ninja ratting to fix my sec status for a noble task involving miners and a decreasing sec status.

Why not? We already have a faction supercap... the one that looks like a giant turd, needs a peanut sticking out of it or some corn visible but I think it's a pretty good representation.

I am actually missing a "de facto" drone boat too... all current "drone boats" also have bonus towards other stuff, I want to see a drone boat with only drone bonuses. also, remove that crap about 5 drones limit... allow atleast 10 ( depending if the ship can fit any actual offensive turret/launcher or not ).
Also, give us more t2 drone modules and drone implants!!

They had 10 Drones at a point, that produced so much lag they changed the skill to give "+20% everything per level" to the drones, thus you still have actual 10 drones with the skill to V and 5 drones out. Increasing the limit even further would be quite OPed

CCP didn't think things through when they introduced drones, so they keep nerfing them over and over again for years now until they become so limited in use noone bothers with them anymore...

Having it be equal to an ishtar, so the ishtar doesn't do the job better, would be a nice start. I'd start using the proteus a lot more I'll tell you that.

How about allowing the protues cloak subsystem to add a 10m3 drone bay. The gimped settings only really allow in most cases for a couple of blasters
