Do i need launch pads to transfer good from a colony to a customs office. Can i get goods to a custom office from a storage facility.

When ever i chose expedited transfer it gives me no options to get it to the customs office

Yes, you have to have a launch pad to bring it to the customs office. (You can also use the launch pad as a storage area for everything if you need).

Can't you use your Command Centre as a launch-pad as well?

You can use a command Centers launch ability too, but it only transfers around 875m3 if I'm not mistaken.

Whereas a Launch Pad can transfer whatever is in it, which is 10.000m3 in one go.

Also, I'm not sure if a Command Center doesn't only launch a can into space, whereas the Launch Pads always transfer to the Customs Office?

Command center launches only to space, and you have a limited time to pick up the can before it expires...

Correct, you should use the "Launch" button. (hint: its a small rocket)
