I was in the Razor alliance one night and after the fleets had all finished thier business, some of us stuck around to shoot the **** into the wee hours of the night on goon's mumble. Vile Rat was there and treated us like bros, even though we were from differnet alliances and he was way up in the goon leadership. We talked a bit and he treated us like real people. Vile Rat was a good chap. Even though I never met him in real life, he made the impression that he'd be willing to talk over a beer with anyone about anything. He wasn't just a pilot, he wasn't just a goon, he influenced what went on in the game. Yes he was part of the Goon's upper ranks, but he was also a former CSM member. Above all else he was a leader, both in his personal life and in his gaming escape. The US and Eve are lessened by his loss.

Our Corp is now a renter from Solar. Many of them know of, or have had dealings with VR. They have changed Our station's name in remeberance of VR. If you too are willing and able to remember VR, please , just for 1 week, show how much of an impact he made on the game. Change your outpost's name.

Woa, I was a bit shocked this morning when I boot up my work laptop and begin reading my nwesfeed and see the attack and death of the diplomatic personnel in Libya, then, someone in my TL posted about someone from EVE being dead because of it, now I read this and woa, shocked still and even more.

Such a senseless way to go. I truly wish him peace everlasting and condolences to friends and family.

Such tragedy, ugh, religious violence is the most absurd violence, I feel outraged.

May he find peace everlasting in the other side of the EVE Gate.
