How do you get High res screen shots in EvE?

I'm making a few back grounds and possibly a personal calendar but any screen shots I take with max settings still look horrible.


any ideas?

like is some way to get the info and use a rendering program to get mega high res images?

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

What do you mean with mega high res image? the screenshot will have the resolution you have selected ingame.

In the options you can select something like "safe screenshots in high quality" wich means they will be saved as BMP i belive.

im talking about making them look more real, like some of there CGI videos

Uh... Take the 3D skills you obviously have and make higher resolution textures for the models in eve, export to the UDK, position, screenshot, done. :3

man that falls under the

man i wish eve had a real video capture tool, that just captures point information then re-renders it back in full detail when you do a play back

They don't use in-game screenshots (or footage) for that, they have a special tool called Jessica for doing those kinds of videos. Not entirely sure how it works, but Kyoko Sakoda of Veto. was able to gain access to it to make the "Do You Know Where You Are" video. I'm sure you can find it on YouTube by now.

i know i was talking about tools that would be nice but we don't have ( or probably wont ever have)
