as a minmatar pilot i have to say the new stabber hull is quite cool but its not minmatar at all.
minmatar ships personality is fading every graphic update we need more rusty and scrapmetal design.

Sorry, the design department is under strict orders not to use anything outside the allowed palette.

V3 textures were a nice improvement, but the ship colour choices that came with them were not so great.

Amarr is having similar issues. No more golden ships, it all drab with some cheapish gold plating.Gallente has turned out pretty good and even Caldari looks nice but Amarr and Minnie design language got thrown out of the airlock it seems.

Hmm.. I'm not sure I can tell a Vexor from a Ishtar anymore tbh.

I think minmatar t2 variants should look a bit more polished to reflect what the Minmatar can achieve when they're not fighting slavery. But t1 variants should stay rusty to reflect their roots.

yes i agree T2 should represent some kind evolution that is why we have wingy bits on T2 stuff but the rust is the main reason why we have higher EM resist on our armor and RP reason should not be ignored

Im only geting into Minmatar ships now because of the V3 change. Before I would never even consider them because thier hulls were soo bad.

The minmatar republic is renovating it's ship designs because the old ones were often confused with metel scrap and reprocessed before even entering service.

Minmatar ships can have their rust back just as soon as the navy megathron gets its matte black skin back. CCP nerfed the f*** out of that poor ship when they changed its skin, and now it's almost as embarassing to fly as the original megathron was.

I started out flying Gallente ships long before the rokh was ever implemented, and I cross-trained to Gallente because of the lack of Caldari hybrid battleships. Unfortunately at the time (pre-Trinity) the megathron looked like ass. More to the point it looked like some old rich woman had six kinds of plastic surgery done but forgot to have her ass renovated. I purchased a navy megathron not for the better stats but simply because it looked good enough to warrant the higher price. These days that's no longer true. Sad
