EVE Online interaction with DUST 514

I've tried gathering info on how EVE Online will interact with Dust 514 and they talk about Orbital Strikes and Contracts with merc groups, and of course Trade ....
But what wil there be more interaction for fleet operations??
Example if a Corp. Hires Merc's to take a planet over and there in another system, will EVE online players provide transport for these units to the new job??
Fleet convoy actions.....
Second will carriers provide fighter cover not only in space, but be able to provide fighter operations on the planet??
Or go the other way with eve and have players develope and play fighter / equipment and troop landing pilots working from other players carriers, working both in (eve) space enviorment and (Dust 514) planet enviorment.....

Yeah I am wondering as well. Is there going to be minimal interaction? Or can a Eve pilot only concern him self with Dust operations?

Can't wait untill when Eve online is Freemium. WiS only 10$, SP booster for one month 15$, DPS Boost 2$, EHP Boost 2$ Real money trading hub! Cosmeitic ship skins 15$ --> If you don't pay **for a product, you ARE the **product.

I think the important thing to take in to account is, that both games are designed to work without the other and despite the other. That means anytime you come up with a scenario, where the gameplay of one of the games is totally relient on the players of the other game, it's likely not going to happen. It also means, that any scenario where players of the other game can totally ruin the gameplay for the other game, it's not going to happen.

What this means is, that DUST players can't be totally relying on EVE players for combat deployments. They'll have to have ways to move about on their own and get stuff delivered on their own. It will also mean, that while fighters may play a role in DUST combat, the DUST players will either dictate the support possibilites entirely or at minimum have good ways to fight back.

We will have combined corps of eve and dust players. But, I'm fairly sure that our ships wont be flying around in their game.

Don't be ridiculous. You will carry people with your transporters and if it pleases you, you will jettison them. Such is the life in EVE.

At first, interaction will be very limited, in fact dust won't even be in 0.0 at first. After launch CCp will slowly but surely intertwine the two games more and more, they just don't want to rush things and break everything.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Let the slaves come and bow before our might. We are gods among stars. We dictate fate of entire galaxy and those ground hogs, well theyre slaves. They shall take orders or shall parish in flame of sky striking down on infidels.

I do hope ccp implements method of blocking dusters joining corporation. Why would you want punch of players in corp that cant fly even kitchen sink to help corporate dominance.

We are Minmatar, Our ship are made of scraps, but look what our scraps can do...

Hey hey but eve now is all about dust. All ship rebalancing is taking place coz dust, all fw rebalancing is taking place coz dust. Eve will be all about dust.... Check that is no new content added or will be added to the game if it's not dust or new players experience. Really who cares about t1 frigs even after rebalancing ...

Technically, according to this video:
EVE Online cinematic trailer

We are now inferior as they are immortal soldiers, yet we still rely on pod technology, we are only immortal in the skies while in ships yet they can go anywhere they want.

With the discovery of the Iwin implant in the above video we are infact the ones that become obsolete, at least until WiS when we get our upgrades so they can justify contact with other clones out of there pod.

Capsuleers can die anywhere and still be revived.

A dust-bunny who dies without a cloning station nearby is ******.

As long as they are in a pod and therefore experiencing the world using camera drones and audio simulation, IE as long as they are in space.

I don't remember hearing that, considering the established lore for jump clones (instantaneous travel of conciousness to even the farthest part of the known universe) it's pretty safe to assume that a "dust-bunny" doesn't have to worry about range of transmition.

Let's face it

Pod pilots are now as Amstrads are to PC's, hopelessly obsolete.

Whats stopping a "dust-bunny" from climbing into a pod and becoming something akin to a NASA supercomputer (following the above analogy)

What makes us demigods is not our immortality, but our ability to control whole spaceships with just our mind and the fact that we are, to some extent, above the law.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

DUST Cloning technology can easily be integrated into our capsuleer bodies. We are not inferior, merely specialized in a different field. DUST bunnies are specialized in land-based warfare. We are specialized in space-based warfare. Or industry. Or whatever the hell you trained for. But mostly warfare.

There will come a time when an EvE pilot can suit up and fight in DUST. It may be a long way off... but it's coming.

That's what I think anyway...
