Dear CCP,

seeing as you now solemnly swear to uphold EVEs core mechanics for a change (after being forced into it by thousands of subscribers leaving...), I was wondering when we might actually see some things happening?

I mean its all fancy and dandy that ship spinning is comming back (hooray?!), but how about we actually give people a reason to undock for a change?

I mean spinning in station is all fine and stuff, and its not like weve been doing it fir 9 years, but how about spinning in you know ******* space?! There are gorgeous videos of those new nebulae out there, and frankly its time for them to appear outside my boring ass station.

As it stands now, EVE needs a major ******* overhaul in all aspects.

I have been around since forever, and EVE feels to me now, like Anarchy Online felt in 2006... outdated.



And no, its not the awesome monocle pricing, or thefact that some gypsies PCs cant run station environments anymore that lets your subscribers plummet, its the fact that EVE has become stale and antiquated.

Combat, while was interesting and thrilling in the first few years (kinda..), the rose tint has long since vanished and we are left with a boring game of rolling dice and trying to see who can bring more dice throwers at a time.

The general balance is boring as hell. All races are basically the same, all ships are basically the same, wherein EVE at least appeared to have 4 distinct races that you know, WERE DISTINCT, we now have a mishmash of the same boring ships doing the same boring things for all races, with one or two ships per race (and 14 for minamatar) that are slightly better than the rest.

So how about, a major ******* rebalence patch, so the races have major diffrences between them? As in REAL differences in style of combat etc etc.


*sigh* I wanted to continue, but there is so much ******* wrong with eve its not even funny anymore. Name any aspect of the game and ill tell you why its ****** up and even how to fix it, but the thing is that EVERYTHING needs an overhaul, and I am just not confident the CCP has either the will or the desire the confront these challenges head on... hence *sigh*


I as many (if not most) others have still got a few billions left on buying plex, but I once that isk runs out I will leave EVE for good.

As have many before me and as evidenced by CCPs panic many other are about to do.


So, please announce a MAJOR GAME CHANGING OVERHAUL AND UPGRADE and exececute it swiftly.

And yeah, why do people all fly cynabals and dramiels? *hint* You answered your rhetorical question in my favour...

You might be right that you're trying to save it, but you don't put the blame all on the other person? You are partly responsible for the things you do in the game, aren't you?

I'm not disagreeing with much of what you said. Just trying to say that there's a right way and a wrong way to go about things.
