Telling someone to kill themselves. Ban worthy and apparently crosses the line.

Scamming ISK using the name of a guy who died in RL yesterday. Somehow that's fine to some of you people?

They're discussing the addition of something to remember a community member; those other things are stuff added for community remembrance as well. It's not mixing up RL and game the way, unlike, say, trying to score cheap points in-game on a real-world tragedy.

Well that's pretty low and underhanded. Regardless if it is against the EULA or not this person is taking advantage of a horrible situation in a very foul way. I hope CCP does do something about it.

This is the hate spawned from pixelated internet spaceships. This is the HTFU culture so prevalent. Do people really hate Goons SO much as to do this?

I'll admit that I am clearly no fan of the Goons and have said many times that I wished they weren't in Eve, but this...this is sick.

A Goon didn't die, a man did. A man with a beautiful wife who lost a loving husband and two great children who lost their father. Read that again, a man died, a good man, not a Goon.

By your assumption, I deserve to have my funeral items stolen from because I'm pro-carebear, anti-pirate, etc.

Those events that the Jita Monument and the AT ships memorialize were specifically in-game events. The recent requests for Vile Rat memorials and monuments have nothing to do with in-game events.

Speaking directly to your frequent use of strawman tactics. It is rare, in my experience, to see you directly argue or debate against the point you are opposed to. Instead, as you are well known to do, you re-frame the debate to your needs by misrepresenting, misquoting or quoting out of context the opposing viewpoint and replacing it with one that is more suited to your line of debate. You may not agree or recognize that you do this, but it's blatantly obvious, imho.

To me, by condoning someone scamming behind the guise of a man's death, you are indeed condoning his death, and to me, wishing it. I don't give two ***** if you don't interpret it as that, but I do. In my opinion (which doesn't count for much but too bad I'm voicing it anyways) their are three topics that pay respect to "Sean Smith", the rest, including this one, are goonery that deal with "Vile Rat", and should be treated as such.

Absolutely. Whoever perpetrated the crime should and probably will be brought to justice. In the meantime, now that CCP has removed Vile Rat Foundation from the game, this thread should probably die, too.
