never met or talked to Vile Rat myself but he seemed from what i saw of him on twitter / eve-o forums to be the quintessential Goon in all the good ways and none of the bad!

I heard the first rumors of this before I went to bed, and dismissed it as just another one of the jokes which permeates life in GSF. Woke up to the jabber broadcasts, read the mittani article, and I still can't really fathom that he's gone.

Of course, we did the one thing which I can think of to pay our respect to the man: we shot some blues in his name.

May he be told of our deeds, wherever he is. RIP. :smith:

Heard the news about the attack when driving to work.

Now I reflect on my initial reaction.

I met Sean during CSM 6 and this is very sad news. He was passionate about anything he turned his mind to and it was a real pleasure having a few drinks and talking EVE, the world and everything with him.

May he rest in peace.

My thoughts go out to his family and everyone who knew him and will be affected by this.
