The point is the future of these corporate skins would lead to a "Serpentis Megathron" looks like a Vindicator
a "Gurista scorpion" looks like a Rattlesnake
a "Blood Raider Armageddon" looks like a Bhaalgorn
a "Gurista Moa" looks like a Gila and so on.
But not giving players a chance to choose the de facto pirates for future skins would suck.

I quite agree, but if there is going to be any connection to the NEX store they will have to avoid giving them any tweaks or advantages in an effort to keep them cosmetic variations only.

It is quite possible they have chosen to not involve the NEX store at all.

CCP already chimed in on that in an interview or maybe it was the CSM minutes or something... apparently they are considering a wide array of options. Some might be gotten on a particular mission, others in LP stores, some on NeX, some might be an NPC drop... I think they are still looking at options.

Signatures should be used responsibly...

I really want custom skins, or at least let me pick the damn colour. And who cares if there are pink ships, they would fit in with goons and test.
