One thing that I think this game has room for is a new ship class of haulers that are somewhere inbetween the 1 million isk of a standard industrial and a billion isk of a capital ship freighter.

I mean sometimes you really don't need all that space of a capital ship frieghter but have plenty more to haul than that dinky industrial.

Maybe a 50 million isk ship for 50,000 m3 or a 100 million ship to cary 100,000 m3.

I'd really like to know where you are getting your orca's for 500million so I can sell them in Jita which are going 700 million right now.

put up a buy order around 600 and meet halfway lol. market is jumping on these tbh and I hvae seen these bounce around in price past few months.

Also summer break over for many, in them cold winter night months more poeple roll back to eve and markets should get better soon.

the main issues with a midgrade hauler is volume cutoff. And redudancy. Don't want a freighter, don't wnat an orca and you need don't want a itty 5. Okay....where between orca and itty is the cutoff? 100 players will say 125, anohter 100 will say 150, etc. How tanky should it be? Will it have slots for mods?

And that is where you get even more issues. Since an itty/orca hybrid logically it should have slots. So you get your mid range hauler, people load up the cargo extenders, cargo rigs and voila its a ghetto orca or close to it.


Or use the commonly available hauling services. Many Offer fair deals for hauling imo. Quite a few excel wizards if they factored in cost of a freighter or orca probably would make out better first year or so doing this vice paying off the big hauler ships tbh. I am not working for nor have i ever worked for these haulers, but till you can get a freigher they can be real good for this. May as well get used to price markup you need for the contract costs....its what you will need to do (or should be doing) when you get that charon to pay it off anyway. Some dude has the fun of the freighter haul and if ganked you got your insurance on the load. Not a bad deal imo (as I know without a web alt on a charon I had the trip can be the suck).

Yesterday i had to move my recon and guardian across a few systems. After 2 years, it finally got to me. Right under my skin. I hate wasting isk at useless (anything that cant be applied in combat, is pretty much useless) ships. But i just could take it anymore. U kno those days, then u really gotta move something, and don't feel like making 50 trips on a t1 indy? yeah. So, i went to Amarr Prime, got my wallet, hated my self for few minutes staring at gun in my captains chambers, wanting to shoot my self for doing it, opened the market tab. Then i hated my self some more, and bought a t2 Indy, Amarrian Impel. After swallowing my guilt, i assembled the ship, and that do u kno? it has so much freaking room! I can put TWO sweet underdogs of war, canes, and still stick an armor plate, damage control and none cargo rig. Best thing, i couldn't even justify shooting my brains out over 130mil i had to pay for it.
