Perhaps it would help if CCP were to 'revisit' the forums and reduce the number dead subsections, then folk might be willing to look at the two or three remaining ones, rather than just GD.

I like GD because even with all the trolling - nerf everything that does not fit my playstyle - it is, by and large, quite entertaining.

Hell yes, GD is thousands times more entertaining than 5 minutes mining or 1h killing red crosses. It's worth far more the sub money than mining IG.

From my experience many community forums have 1-2 sections that serve one reason, to be a place where people can vent frustration. Threads there are numerous, moderating is a bit laxed and you don't have threads that make sense everyday. Basically, I feel that GD is this for EVE-O.

My 2 cents

When a tread is moved to a child forum a link is left behind in a folder in GD called moved thread links and when a post is made in that child post thread the link is moved up in the file. .... or a specal GD for ASS Hats could work also.P

Despite the ISD's best efforts to claim GD is a discussion forum, it's really a trolling forum. Eve GD has some of the highest level trolls out there. Our trolls are so good, none of their threads get locked for trolling. ISD are bad troll detectives.

Lol...unless those links are viewable from the main GD topic page, I don't think it will matter. May help some...but the problem is really people don't like looking/posting in more then 1 place.
