I wanted to rep my Sec Status in deepest darkest Null Sec as easily and quickly and semi AFK'ably as i could, Cane/Drake works but is slow, BS is sitting duck, anything smaller is pretty pointless, best i came up with was using a SB, why?

1) Its fast / agile so i can move systems, jump belts etc quickly
2) It quickly kills my target (NPC BS's)
3) Its cloaky so i can move through those pesky bubble camps
4) I dont need to tank anything really as i basically warp to belts at 50 slowboat off, target BS, 7 salvos later he's dead and i can warp onto next system

i use the fit below, Manticore in order to make use of the Kinetic bonus which is the quickest way to kill Serpentis, the point is there in for the odd time i land on a ratting Raven so i can point/melt him.

Spot any improvements, ways to max my DPS/volley damage??

It currently does 447 DPS and a volley of 4005

I hear ya but i couldnt think of anything else to fit, what would you suggest that would add more DPS or make life easier?

Is the TP even worth the slot? i have no experience of using them and whether or not they actually add any advantage?

I would say change out the Warp Disruptor for a small ASB. The charges are 1m3 so you can fit 1o in the thing and 20 or 30 more in your cargo hold. Might also want to replace the Flight Time Rig with a Flare Rig, drop to a meta 4 Painter for cap and use an AB to Range Tank. AB also mitigates Dmg and NPC Frigates don't close very fast.

You can cram on a Medium ASB, 2m3 Charges with an AB and Meta Painter.

Last time I tried Bomber Rating I had my Hauler Character bring down everything to an NPC Station. Probably next time I will dump it in a stealth container. I wasn't thinking of it for tanking but emergency use, better then a Disruptor kinda thing. I just suggested the ASB so he didn't have to drop the second BCU or Rigs. I prefer a Medium Extender, used a Hound though.

Only way I can fit a MSE is to drop a BCS which id rather not to, i might try dual TP and see what happens, the quicker and more efficent i can get the NPC BS killing the better

Bombers are great for ratting, especially for gaining sec status back as you want to kill one BS target and then switch system which is less of an issue if you fly a cloaky frigate. Here's some things to conside:

- even though you can stay at range (depending on your skills) there's always a chance of getting tackled by NPC frigs, because of that you really want to fit a web+painter to be able to apply dps to those, if you don't you simply won't get away
- I'd fit an AB, not MWD. MWD would be useful to clear bubbles but if your 0.0 area is slightly secure/empty you won't need it, it'll help you with sig tanking the rats as well
- if you fit an extender (and you should), ALWAYS fit oversized. If you think it won't fit, try it anyway and if you then still can't fit it, don't bother. same size extenders are useless
