PLEX to change trial to full?

Hi
Can I use a PLEX that is ingame to turn my Trial account into a full subscription, or do I have to pay for a full subscription before I can use a PLEX?

Yes, you can activate your account with PLEX. Getting enough in the space of a trial is tough, but it is technically possible.

I read yesterday that using plex turns trials to full accounts. :)

I'm a nerd, you can check my stats!! Skilling Int/Mem at 45 sp per minute is how I mack!     I'm like a lapdog, all bark no bite.

I am not one to brag, but i was voted the the 3rd most handosme Gallente in the Galaxy 6 years running!!! Damn those 2 in front of me!!

Isn't there something like a mandatory fee to start your account? Something like $5? I've heard/read it a couple of times already...

If you use a PLEX, you do not have to pay the $5 fee. It is coves by the PLEX and you still get the full 30 days added to whatever trial period you have left, as your remaining active account time.

For example, if I were to start a 21 day trial today, and tomorrow I loot a PLEX from a shuttle in Jita and use it I will have a full account with 50 days remaining.
