New Attack Executioner - NICE

Greetings, I like this little ship now - the new frigate changes are choice...

I tried this out just for giggles with:

3x Poly I rigs,
3x Dual T2 Pulse with Scorch (and Conflag in cargo, and 50 Nano paste)
1x Nos/Neu T2
1x 1MN AB T2
1x Web T2
1x Scram T2
1x DCU T2
1x ANM T2
1x TE T2 (or HS T2)
...and found it works and fits and seems really very capable - and this was just a quick throw together fit, anyone have a tested combat fit with some pvp kills on it to show it works well?

i wonder if faction frigs will get a little love soon?

Seems like these, albeit low dps frigs, are the talk of the town. Ive seen gangs of the damned things.

However, it does seem a little more balanced on the whole, if you compare to cruisers which are perfectly capable next to faction and t2 cruisers.

I fitted a long point one.
3k velocity
11km optimal
with Arty.
Paper thin but dam hard to hit
Also have a scram brawler fit that's pretty effective

The new Executioner is *awesome*. I've got 30 kills in it so far and I've been experimenting with both close range and kiting fits.

Holy crap, why don't you show us some kills that actually mean something? You could have done that 3v1 in any frigate with the ability to fit guns onto it.

I'd rather see a really good 1v1 where you fight above your weight-class, than a curb-stomp of some newbies in bad fits.

And that Brutix kill? Meh, any pair of frigs can do that, really. Kill the drones and the Brutix has no way to hurt you.

LOL - I don't dictate what's available. I guess I should have linked solo killing a Thrasher, Hawk, and Wolf in the Executioner. I just didn't bother to go searching through my KB history.

Not as much a fan of kiting TD variants of these frigates. A kiting TD Executioner kept my AB Tormentor twiddling its thumbs for like thirty minutes before someone finally came and chased him off. A kiting arty TD Slasher did 17 DPS at best to my Punisher in a FW plex and I just flew to the warp-in and called for help.

If you want to kite, Slicer/Retri can kill people before their buddies arrive.

'course, those might've been otherwise terribly fit.

The Executioner's a modest boat. No flashy bonuses. Just lasers + range control. How strong could that be? :)

I actually ended up soloing that Hawk and the Reaper was basically whoring on it. I'm pretty sure I have it on fraps, but I'm not 100% sure.

The extra heat is useful when you're chasing something down. It's handy on the point too. It's a hard frig to shake off.


Flying a Slicer's pretty dull for me now. This is a bit more on the edge. The Executioner is an awesome boat now.
