How to make Hi Sec a better place : A TEST Perspective

As a pilot of EVE for a long time (Sep 2005)


You hisec carebears have had it too good and you need to be reminded of what has happened since the inception of EVE since then that has made your life far too easy to even contemplate for the amount of reward you make for yourself.



Wars have been nerfed to hell to ensure your mining safe and secure to trundle out tritanium to make more mining ships.

Concord has been buffed to levels previously unprecedented in ways that make hisec too safe


You have had warp to 15km cut out YEARS AGO, although the reasoning for this was sound in some parts but not so much in others


Mining Barges have been buffed to levels also previously unprecedented in terms of their ehp and roles.



And you had the rare mineral market virtually being wiped out with an opportunity for hi sec miners to see and opportunity and move out to lowsec.



What have you done? You have been fairly lazy and not doing anything constructive at all.



Instead, what has happened, is that nothing has happened on your side and now with the latest dev blog not even detailing some would-be righteous and just changes to hisec, NO, instead CCP are just even considering it, you go into a blind rage that makes the tea party look like a puppy .


You know what I think needs to happen and I cannot wait for it to happen.

Empire should be made all conquerable space. No troll. No 1.0 - 0.1, just null sec. Then the above changes that have been done in the past will be okay. Even the mining frigates would seem okay.

In fact, it should be the new eve expansion, EVE: Pandemic of Testing Times





Then you publords will experience the true EVE experience and with that change, TEST will spread across the whole galaxy with .MV. at the helm, spreading the LEARN to everyone who lives in that 'hisec' so that you will no longer be a long lost hi sec pilot. Instead you will fight for Croleur I Belt 9 in your incursus against rifters or something so you have the right to mine that tritanium, but all I see is you whinging that your barges dont suck up some veld and throw it at your enemy because thats how bad you are at EVE.

TL:DR Never stop being bad Empire pubbies, TEST will reeducate you soon.

I think your setting yourself up for disappointment, because that... will never happen.

Still it was a nice though, I could get behind a "no safe zone" Eve. It will probably look like DarkFall (100 people on any given night) but small communities can be fun

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

I think the OP is saying that PvP is null-sec is too hard, and he needs CCP to increase the availability of easy targets, i.e. high-sec carebears/miners?

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Not at all. In fact its the reverse with the latest offerings of AAA + SoCo have presented to the Welp Gods in K-6 so it will be a bit of a change. Who knows, high sec publords might actually be worthwhile adversaries, after all, they will defending their veldspar asteroids from our blobbing miner I frigates.

If you have an idea for change, submit it to Features and Ideas. It'll get much better reception there. Of course, you need to actually have a well thought idea to actually post about it.
