"RNG is R," in the words of the founder of Club Deadspace.

Now stop your self-entitled whinging, nullbear.

Next!

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

when i used to ninja rat my sec up in curse, i got 2 officer.

if i wanted sec fast id chain the 1.5+ bounty spawns, no officer doin that for me.

way i got em was to clean every belt of everythin, and just keep doin it, when you start gettin hauler spawns get ready you might get the officer, thats the way its happened for me.

this.

Also, log on straight after DT and roam every belt in every system that you can... don't waste time, that faction/officer spawn will be SOMEWHERE, you just gotta find it. Also, you do know that officers only appear in certain regions, right?

If my memory serves me right there is a limit to how many officers can be in a region(or const) at a time. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to have one alt roam systems in the area checking belts. Also try NPC 0.0 where its their home region. It has a better chance of spawning. Venal for example.

chaining does give you the spawns however only certain systems in eve will spawn them. bet you didn't know that ;) I"ll give you a hint one of those systems is in curse Blink maybe ccp should fix this.

Don't chain.

Why not?

Wish the trolls would hang themselves instead of filling this thread full of bs.

Last I heard chaining no longer works, as CCP changed the spawn mechanics. You no longer get a spawn of the same type.

Also has anyone ever seen a faction or officer drop in a sanctum or haven?

I've had faction spawns in havens. It doesn't happen often but it happens. Officer spawns I have never seen. That doesn't mean they don't happen, but they are probably extremely rare.

Oh sure, I get faction spawns in Havens.

I put the resulting 1000 faction ammo in the POS for anyone to use.

Adds a +50% chance to find officer drops from high sec rats
Asteroids have a 70% chance to explode when depleted causing the rest of the belt to turn into officer mods.

Yep, I had a True Sansha spawn at the end of Sanctum the other week, it dropped a true Sansha large armor repair, tags and ammo.

just in normal rat wreaks I sometimes get 100M blueprint copy's drop, large and Extra large Ancil, shield Booster blueprints. Prob 01 or 2 every few hours if I check every wreak. I get about 700DPS on the ship I use to rat,

I had an officer the other day. Dropped no officer mods sadly, just 500Ms worth of faction stuff. Was pretty hard to take down, got some friends in sniper ships to help me kill it.

I prefer to get hauler spawns. It can be tricky moving the stuff when there hostiles around, but the value of them is almost always 250m plus, sometimes as much as 600M+. Takes ages when it drops 3 carriers of Trit tho, :P

Faction spawns are usually 50-100M sometimes u get lucky and get a 200M drop but all too often they drop nothing at all, just some ****** ammo and tags.

You can make a fair bit scanning down sites in null sec as well, defo worth doing, the Plexs drop juicy stuff at the end of em, I usually run em in a small group tho, u can solo em, but its hard without an expensive ship, Mag sites are brilliant, just salvaging some containers while fending off a few rats, can drop 500M+ in T2 loot.

You are a liar!

I tried this and it didn't work at all! CryCryCry

Yeah he did lie, thats not how you do it.

I get officer drops every other kill and the best way to do it is to wait until you're about to kill the officer then press ALT+F4. If it doesnt work then you just need to do it again and guaranteed officer drop.

Essentially, it comes down to luck of the draw.

Ive been playing eve for...gosh...4+ years now?
Ive always lived in null, so sometimes when I have time ill blitz the belts.

I used to live in Hemin which is Angel Cartel NPC space. I belt ratted about 2 hours a day for a week, and one day a Tobias' officer spawned.

He dropped about 12billion in loot...and I was selling it cheap because I just wanted to get rid of it.

All in all, this is not something you should SEARCH for. If I spent 60 hours doing this, I could make far more than 10billion in 60 hours doing 10/10s upgraded nullsec...
