because clearly you are not happy with the one you paid for.

also Tom,
could you please start a decent thread, I've been so goddamn bored out of my mind lately.

These trolls are not as good as you.

So If i have paid for something and find out that the product does not do what it says it should do......I should not go back to the salesman?

That does not sound right to me....
..No....sorry JIM.....

But yet you would rather continue to pay said salesman, even though he hasn't "fixed" anything.

Sound like a pushover to me.

Can't deal with confrontation.

Interesting how this game is a sandbox until some part of the sandbox becomes something someone doesn't like then it becomes a themepark, can't it just be both in different places? Because let's be honest, I don't think your standard EVE is a test of social darwinism let's read Sun Tzu and apply it to a video game type really wants your garden variety carebear muckin up their lawn, and I think the forums and recent changes by CCP show that the same applys towards the highsec carebear not wanting what is in their eyes griefing muckin up their lawn. So maybe if everyone quit their cryin and stayed on their own lawns this wouldn't even be an issue. Then again maybe all this rage and arguing is just another part of EVE, I dunno, still too new to know for sure.

Interesting observation.

Because you know.....thats a sandbox.....all peopl making their castles and getting in each others way...

The thing is.....some ways are not allowed......not by EULA or anything.....just "random" people in game or on forum....that also happen to have the tools to just shut you up.

Yet if I start to talk about HOW drunk I can get while playing eve.....how much millions I ripped from this here 8 week old player.....I would be THE man.....

The sandbox is a lie.

I hope i'm not too on topic with this, but i partly understand you. (omg a seriouspost)

New Eden as a whole is a sandbox and you're one grain of sand in it.

It took me two years to figure it out, but the only reason why people get bored in this game,
or not perceive it as sandbox, is simply because they are used to being consumers.

The "butterfly effect" is alive and real in this game, but one will never experience it,
unless he actively embraces it. To switch from consumer to creator, one has to interact with
people in a way that has impact onto their eve-life.

What saddens me ... and pisses me off at the same time ... is the fact that most people
don't even chose to be consumers ... they are so used to being one, they have no real choices.

You, too, can become a shovel ... just stop being sand. All the grains of sand in the sandbox continually
get moved and pushed around, while at the same time being totally ignorant about it and holding tight
to the stupid belief of individuality and "chosing my own path".

If you want an example ... for the miner, the ganker is a shovel. The miner refuses to accept that,
refuses to acknowledge the influence AND refuses to accept the world of possibilities the ganker
actually opens up for him ...

Stop being part of the sand ... start being a shovel.

While we note you originally ordered a Sandbox©, we have been running low on those and upgraded your order to a Box of Sociopathic Diarrhetic Rhesus Monkies at no additional charge. Please enjoy your purchase and your new playmates.

We are 1 on 1 on this....we are really.

Thats why I tried Hillbillageddon.....

It is why I am now in the process of setting up interesting (to me at least) choreography for a storytelling lasershow.....live...

It is why I try to spread propaganda about larger alliances...

It is why i spread propaganda about smaller entities who can tilt the advantage to one side or another between two large alliances.

(There is a reason for it and is totally sandbox)

And I do mean....tried it!....and I do mean....am working on.....seriously....

Yet any communication about this play is either locked or only get people to react who say it does not belong in EvE and got to sod off.

Now, I wont sod off.....

I have done, will do, and keep doing it.....

But its hardly accepted gameplay if even mods, and devs start locking your threads while there are much worse ones out there. Specially under the....be civil or.....for the good of the gaming society banner.......it just sounds....biased and makes the sandbox a lie.

I am not even being rude in any way....make it pretty clear its a Carrot....for its orange....with a green TOP....

that sort a thing.

I Love EvE......isnt it showing?

Why else would I be worried and actually talk in a goon troll infested forum?

That's because change can't come with words.
It only comes through action.

You can talk all you want ... it doesn't help. Especially not in form of text.
To gather masses, you need to transport emotion.

One can not easily transport/trigger specific emotions through text,
unless he's well trained and the circumstances fit.

I can tell from experience.

My own progress is slow too ... but people see me, people like me, (some hate me, but they don't really know me ^^)
and i went "OMG AWESOME" when people suddenly started COPYING my actions ...

To put this into a short sentence that actually concludes all ... no: most ... that has to be known about this:

Monkey see, monkey do.

Okay ?

So this trainwreck of a thread is about a thread that got locked?

On a private, moderated forum?

Really? Big smile
