I'm honestly not overly fussed about the hats. But I'll give it a +1 for the sake of saying my piece.

Something I'd like in EVE is something we all saw in the future vision trailer. Guns. More specifically, I'd like a CAR-9 strapped under my arm and a nice black leather trench coat to top it all off. The outerwear at the moment is horrific. But an open trench coat would show off the rest of my gear but snugly hide my pistol. While CCP has stated that they're putting most of their development time into spaceships, I would like a little more polish to be put on the available wardrobe.

Hats are the only poinless vanity items that other players may notice besides monacles, at least until WIS is fully implemented

Also Gallente need their stupid glass dome visor hats back

also, if you do make hats, make them all asexual so that there can be girls wearing stovepipe hats and guys can wear a bonnet or something (what's a female steriotypical hat?).

One of the things I really enjoyed about the old-style portraits, and that is currently lacking, was the selection of bizarre sci-fi headgear. Gallente with viewscreens over their eyes, amarr wearing stormtrooper helmets, caldari with plug-in wires etc. New-style portraits became fashionable but lack the gritty sci-fi chic. Bring back the wacky space hats, says I.

I would like sinks in CQ and stoves in the NEX so female avatars have a place in Eve.
