Contracted killing services AKA: ASSASSINATION

We live in interesting times.

Why not allow free lance contributions to your battle against those who so richly deserve it?

Now, 'free lance' is not to say people should not make profit from this.
Assassinations should be an expensive service available as a contract.

IDEA:
You put out a WTB contract for a corpse, a specific individual, created after the contract's creation date.
You could even put out a WTB for any such corpse from a corp or alliance, created after the contract's creation date.

You can even put out simple buy orders for this unique product, and let any and all fill the quotas...

Obviously high sec hits will cost more, as the assassin's overhead will include replacing med-clones and ships.

Just call it bounty hunting. For example, you put a bounty on me, but its visible only to a bounty hunter that accepted the job.

There is one caveat, you should be able to manually approve the bounty hunter (or assassin), thats not target's alt, or buddy, or member of the same corp or alliance.

My concept is for this to be open ended.

I think people should be able to check the market, the same way they might look to see what the buy orders for regular items, see what ISK is being offered for corpses you may have on hand.

(right click to check market value on corpse, if it is posted for reward where you are, sell it like you would any item with a buy order for it)

In some cases, the pod might drop more valuable loot than the ship. Scoop up that body.

Don't know whose body is worth ISK?
Grab em all!

I see what you are getting at, but I don't think that's the direction I want to take on this.

I am thinking put a safety mechanism in place to prevent farming.

You can make it cost ineffective to farm a body by being specific to target pilots whose med clones cost too much to replace.

Targeting a corp or alliance? Use your pull down menus to specify more details. (Minimum clone level for full ISK value)
As for low skill point characters, a minimum requirement or scaling fee can keep bounties value below the cost of the med clones.
(An alpha clone pilot killed would be worth nothing)

Also contractor name shouldnt be visible then, or contracts of that kind revealed when I search fro contracts. After all I wouldnt call it a legitimate business too.

Without that many will be forced to make alts for the purpose of creating assassination contracts, and thats just a burden.

I can agree the contractor name could be hidden as a practical aspect for my idea. This should be an option.

It could also be that the character may want to make it known who is after their target. Creates a desirable threat level for people who cross known contract makers.
(Sure, you can shoot him, but don't come cryin to me when a contract pops up for you later!)

As for legitimate business, that would be a balance issue to be considered.
CCP may find these contracts belong only in low sec, or perhaps through special agents to place.
