Probeing QOL suggestion: Mousewheel adjustments

The ability to move an entire group of probes, while maintaining the same formation and distance via a shift-click-drag is an extremely useful feature.

Allow me to suggest one more feature along the same line of reasoning:

After manually shaping your probes into the formation you wish, a shift-mousewheel would cause all the probes in formation to move closer or farther away from the central point of the formation. Shift-Mousewheel up would cause them to move closer. Shift-mousewheel down would zoom them further away. This would not do anything until you've setup your formation and established a central point. The probes would move along an axis relative to their original position compared to the central point. This would also include probes setup diagonally from the central point.

This would make adjusting your probes closer for smaller AU re-scans less tedious, while still requiring the player to know how to probe properly and have the proper skills before they can start revealing sites on a regular basis. By making diagonal movement easier, it would allow players to experiment with more diverse probe setups and formations.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Hold the Alt key and drag the probes, all of the probes will slide in an out in formation.

tl;dr: It's already in the game.

O.O

*facepalm*

Right then. Thank you. I feel very silly.

Yeah, it's not the best advertised feature, but it's so handy when you do find it.
