Novelty Item: Masks

Create Novelty masks that can be themed by alliances. I have in mind a cheap looking mask like the Guy Fawkes masks. This is the perfect class of Novelty item. It doesn't affect game play directly, and appeals to tribal identity. Having a gang run around ganking with masks on would be kinda cool. Even I, who has no interest whatever in novelty items, might go for this.

Considerations:

  • Masks must look cheap.
  • Price them at 1 Plex.
  • Charge alliances in Plex for submission of mask decal.
  • Allow Corporations to submit masks with only corp logo. (Charge Plex for service.)
  • Must be alliance/corp member to purchase from Novelty store, but they are permanent and stay with you when you leave alliance/corp. (This creates appeal for collectors.)

Sounds like a nice ISK sink. And for collector appeal, not a bad plan. I support this.

I would pay monocle prices for a Guy Fawkes mask.
