Small Request for the Proteus

Can the graphic's artist change the "Covert Reconfiguration" subsystem on the Proteus so that it doesn't look like a dog with its tail between its leg please. Why does it droop so much... makes it look awkward and sloppy.

I don't think you fulfill the minimum height requirement for Proteus pilots.

I've never seen that as ugly, but the CPU susbsystem gfx deserves to be put into better use.

It looks absolutely amazing, and is utterly useless. Waste of great art assets, imho it could replace any of the three more used electronics subsystem graphics.

I absolutely agree. My favourite configuration happens to be the fugliest of them all.

To make the shark nozzled one which looks like a futuristic assault rifle of doom, you can't have any of the useful subsystems.

To have a VERY useful cloaky proteus with usual subsystems, you are stuck with the flat hammerhead face and the "dog with tail between its legs" rear, which sucks.

Switch how the subsystems looks!

I specially hate the plate frog face one, makes it such a crap art design compared to all other parts of the ship...and actually has nothing relevant to any other Gallente ship design. Legion looks sweet !! (with the avatar looking sub)

Legion indeed looks awesome in pretty much all configs, props to the designer. Proteus has three ugly front ends, and one spectacularly awesome. Colours and styling of the rest of the ship very nice indeed.

That said I've sort of become to accept the hammerhead style of the Friction Extension, partly because of the high utility of extended tackle range, but also because hammerhead shark is a very suiting analogy to a cloaky Proteus. It's still fugly, but reeks of pure PVP.

Yeah, looks don't matter yadayada and I'm even cloaked up most of the time in it, but I do love spaceships, and especially this one.

Here's a thought. Maybe the Covert Subsystem would look better if it curved up instead of down.

the proteus looks like they designed a bunch of parts and threw them together. Loki,Tengu and Legion parts mesh together much much better and the end result is they actually look like space ships. Proteus needs a minor re-do imo. I definitely dig the nullifier though.

The nullifier sub imho is ok, little bit Daytona 500miles design which is a slap in the face when you see the speed this brick can get to...but welp, yeah that plate frog face simply upsets me, I get the feeling I'm going to puke whenever I undock with.
Not that bad than when I cross or see a dominix but very close.
