Character Transfer Query

I'm not a new player by any means but I have a newbie question so here I am.

What I'd like to know is that can you transfer a character from an expired acct to an active one? And if not, can you do the four hour activation thing just to get it up long enough to make the transfer?

Lastly, and the one option I like the least is, do I need to drop a PLEX on it and then transfer just before it runs out?

Both accounts have to be active to transfer characters across

The 4 hours (Hours-4-PLEX) options won't work as there is a 10h stasis in between starting and finishing transfer

So, you need to PLEX the inactive account and transfer while there is at least 1 day left on the subscription (just to be safe, it is still CCP you are dealing with).

That's what I thought. I was just hoping I could do it with two PLEX instead of three.

If you message a GM and explain your situation, you might get a 1d temp activation instead of the 4h. Not guaranteed, but the GMs do have the power to do that if they're feeling nice. It's worth asking atleast.

You may want to check your emails to make sure you didn't get a reactivation offer to do this already. 2 of my inactive accounts got 14 day offers in the last week which would be perfect for this.

Sorry to hijack a thread but i didn't think the following question needed its own thread.

If i transfer a character to another account does that character get removed from everyone's contacts and watch list? Or is there a way to do this manually?

nope, you can't get yourself removed from people's watchlists by moving to a different account.
