I have decided to try my hand at exploration. With the revisions to the mining barges, I am taking a sabbatical from that line. And PvP was NEVER a strong-point for me...unless you count DYING OFTEN as good . So, I have made my pilgrimage to the Genesis Gate in New Eden. A decent beginning. Nearby was the giant Black Monolith in Dead End as well. Now to the crux of my topic...ADVICE! It seems logical in exploration to at least have some idea of what to seek. Anyone who has information on locations worthy of a few screenshots and a willingness to share those places with me would be a definite help. I saw a vid that showed several ODD systems, but after traveling there I was, sadly, dissappointed. Seems they have undergone changes or perhaps I simply didnt know WHERE to look in those systems for the sites I sought. Again, anyone with knowlede would be of great help...

Live Stream a Tour of New Eden on Twitch or Own3D, and by tour I mean, visit every single system in New Eden.

Think about it, you could make some good real-life cash from the advertisements, and you'll have something to do for the next 6 months...LOL

Sorry to shoot you down early, but after you see like 2 or 3 things in Eve, every system is literally the exact. same. *******. thing.

It's part of Eve that I've thought needs work for a while now, though I'm not sure exactly what would help.

true enough...

Same Dang rocks to drill and sell, same dang ships and pods to blow up, same dang planets to use for resources, same dang personalities (of various degree's) talking on the forums. Same dang thing all over, whats the point eh?

In truth, my "end goal" is to place an object in a station in every system that has a station to dock at. that will leave a "papertrail" to remind me of those systems i've already visited. Something free and simple, such as a copy of a bookmark would do the trick. The added benefit will be having the LONGEST list ever in the assets tab...lmao

The map has a filter that shows you systems you've visited, would be a lot simpler to use that.

Pretty much. I'm not sure what would help beyond making our avatars more useful, like walking around on homeworlds like Amarr, or exploration on foot. I know this would require a massive amount of server space though, so I know it's not worth it right now.

The things you are looking for are called landmarks in EvE. You can use for example dotlan to see where all interresting sites are. Some are unique such as Caldari titan over Gallente Prime. Other are more generic and can be found is several systems, such as Abandoned Mining Colony.
