Hey there!

I need the 3D models of the 4 Titans, but I can't get them at the moment. Could someone give them to me? I would like them in WRL format, or 3DS if you can't get them in WRL.

I'm trying to do two things. One is doing some Blender stuff, the other is building them (to scale) in Minecraft using BinVoxel.

Buy a cheap ass PC and use triexporter on the PC version.

Just have to be able to install the client, not actually run it.

Kinda off topic, but everyone has told me in and out of school that a mac is great for artistry (I do 3D modeling/Graphic Design). Thing is, I have a very solid pc at home, and a decent enough toshiba that can run 3Ds max 2010 good enough for when Im not at home.

Is it worth me buying a mac to replace my laptop in your opinion? Ill say I personally hate Macs

Everything you can do on a mac you can do 10 times more things on a PC for cheaper
Including play more games

Although the build quality of Macbooks is almost unbeatable. They're just overpriced

any tool you can get on mac has a PC equivalent for usually 1/3 the price. the problem is if you go to any store and buy the cheapest mac ( something like $1500) it will run those tools pretty well and it will be pretty fast.
the problem lies in those same people who will then buy a PC for about $300 then complain when it runs terribly slow with anything.
if you don't cheap out PC is better then any mac in any situation for a normal person. the only thing that mac is better at is security, but anyone who can hack a PC in a form that matters, wouldn't worry about hacking YOUR pc because you are a peon.

Agree and disagree with that.

Mac's are great for work, browsing the web, the creative stuff. And they are reliable, well designed, compact easy to use. Had my iMac for 4 years now and the ONLY problem I have ever had was the HDD packing up. I can't even remember the last time it crashed on me.

However, you are totally correct, they are not that great at real heavy duty stuff such as gaming unless you have a Mac Pro, which is silly expensive (£3,000 at least in the UK for a good one) and while you can upgrade memory on them, GPU's and HDD, you can't upgrade the motherboards.... which is a joke. You could get an iMac but they are about as upgradeable as a brick.

So PC you get the power, cheaply, just not as reliable. Just like everything else I suppose.

Saying that, I am playing EVE on my iMac, but I yearn for an upgrade. But can't ditch the mac because it has all my Mrs business stuff on it, plus we have iPhones and iPads too and I like the ease of connectivity.

But I can't afford the silly prce tag of the Mac Pro if I was to get the top dog motherboard and processor version.

I have Pro screens (not mirrors)

I can do Mac things, and Windows things aswell with my VT-x intel Xeon feature like you.
when i buy some upgrades, i go in PC parts re-sellers then check netkas for drivers.

I don't have blue Neons / Leds and giants fans to make it sexier.
I don't like Adobe's Premiere Gas Factory, nor Windows movie maker.

I need FCP and Avid.

I can't wait the Intel's Haswell architecture next year for Servers versions Lol
Please do not turn this into a Mac/Pc clones war thread.
Usually you know what and why you are buying such things.

and more on topic,

You can find TriExporter easily.
you'll need (unfortunately) a bootcamp partition or a virtual session (Vmware/parallels).
Open Eve package, look for another Eve Package (the first was the launcher) / Resources / Transgaming / C-Drive/.../

copy the Eve folder on windows drive, and use TriExporter.
This is actually the (99% match) same dir folder than on windows. You can run on it if ya want. Vice-Versa.
