Which navy cruiser???

Hey folks,

I'll be getting me hands on a navy cruiser after a little alliance frig tourny, but I don't know what to go for.

Looking for a solo PVP T2 fit as I fancy loosing it in some hilarious fashion in lowsec.

Have very good armour and sheild skills and can use all but HAM's weapon wise.

Well simply by stating my faves it be the Stabber, Omen or Vexor.

But since all 3 work in very different ways it still depends on your preferances.

Its normally dual armor repped (ASB might be better now) or dual prop. I think I even saw one that was both.

Edit - here are 3 pretty typical fits. Its a good ship. Low dps, but good mobility.

The navy omen is terryfing if you have good gunnery skills. The fleet stabber is fun, but needs to get 'in your face'. the omen does its deeps from a long way off.

FStabber and Nomen would be my first choices. The stabber in particular with its insane tracking, agility and sig radius of a destroyer is probably my personal fave. There's not a great deal of single ships a well flown, well fitted fleet stabber can't kill.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

You can do amazing, yet disgusting things with Vexor navy issues, huge passive armor tank, 30k ehp 600 dps, 20k ehp 1k dps, but the stabber is abit more versatile as you don't have to commit to fights

If you want more buffer drop the invuln for another LSE. You are essentially a really freaken fast kite, hence the disruptor over scram. Speed is life with these.

The Rof bonus on the Navy Omen is ridiculously hilarious, your cycles fire off like crazy that the animations glitch.

Navy omen all the way. The thing is brutal. It has a nice tank, 7 lows on a cruiser! a utility high, a full flight of light drones, and your guns seriously cycle once a second. Its also cheap. Navy omen has the versitility because of the lows, imho, there is no better faction cruiser.

Stabber Fleet Issue is sooo standard. Everyone is flying them and everyone knows what to expect from them.

Try out something new like the Scythe Fleet Issue which is a nice and fast kiting platform with its missiles. Alternatively take the Osprey Navy. Just be creative :-)

Does anyone has experiences with the Vexor Navy Issue?

The discussion about the Omen Navy Issue was interesting, does anyone has a fitting?

If you plan on flying it solo then the fleet stabber is good but it should be active armour tanked.
