Fast Cloaky Mapper for hostile space

Been running around solo setting up gate and safe bookmarks in hostile null.
I'm probably doing it wrong, warping cloaked to 100 then slow boating (or MWD if there's nobody around) out to something beyond 150, out of the likely bubble lines, but still on grid, to grab a bookmark.
Using an SB at the moment, but think there may be faster than my current 2km/s.
Anyone have a recommend ship for the job?
Still needs to be agile and cloaky though.

If you don't need to warp cloaked then this ship would be best for it.

[Vigil, Lol]

Prototype Cloaking Device I

Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints I

It's cheap, fast and effective. If you need to be able to warp cloaked then a SB or Cov Ops would be best.

Your current approach is probably the best combination of speed and safety. For more speed you can go with a ceptor, but they are a lot easier to catch. For more safety you can go with a covops nullified T3, but they aren't gonna be any faster, and will be alot more expensive.

Just remember, if not using a nullified T3, ping to as far out of line as possible before warping to the gate to reduce effectiveness of pull bubbles.

Thanks to both of you.
I think that answers the question.

Very interesting race choice though. Funny that I run around in a Hound.

I'd always recommend an interceptor for these type of things. It's very difficult to catch one with 3 movement mods in it's lows.

Cloaks don't always work.

Interceptors would be a good choice - you'd need another interceptor who knew what they were doing to catch you (and who had a dose of luck) - plus most fleets won't be patient enough to chase you around. You'll find the odd small gang who'll give you a good run for your money but that's half the fun.

The good thing about the interceptor is that the boring part (flying out to make the BM) will be much easier

I guess a 100nm AB tengu would do the trick too but might be a little pricey if you mess up.

Too slow to accellerate if your jumping blind into a system, oversized ships come into their own when the land 50km away and have time to ramp up.
