CFO: Making EVE too complicated

June 2011, the golden age of EVE.

The game was better.

One Frigate: Dramiel
One Cruiser: Cynabal
One Battleship: Machariel
One Carrier: Thanatos
One Super-Carrier: Nyx

This was the pvp lineup and now CCP is trying to confuse people, what is wrong with one ship outclassing everything comparable?


It reduced the learning curve and you knew you were the king, if these changes go in how are we supposed to be the best? What assurances do I have that my USD to PLEX investment won't get blown up?

I never lose ships because I buy. the right ones, if other ships can compete against the best, what is the point of EVE?

TIER 11 gear should ALWAYS beat tier 10, and CCP is messing that all up.

You mean the WoW 'Tier' reference didn't toss up enough flags?

-9000/10, as that argument didnt even hold up In WoW.

So, you're telling the game designers what's what, huh? Tell YOU what: if you don't like it, design your own intarwebz spaceships game. Or stop subscribing (another failquitter that failed to quit?)...

There are tiers, teir 3 is highest tier BS.

But then to beat the WoW, there is tech 2 as well.

Then to beat the EVE, EVE released meta lvls.


Easiest is to remember, T1, T2, then faction then deadspace, then finally officer gear.

You do realize that, where deadspace gear exists, it is equal to some form of officer gear, right? Or is Brokara's EANM somehow better than an A-type?
