You get webbed at a POS for ~30 sec (give or take) before the module decides to go after someone else. If there's a gunner keeping it on you, well, that's gonna be annoying ...

/me wonders if OP has seen the numbers for the ewar mods Shocked

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

The counter-point is: no, not really.

The riposte to this is: uhh, yes it is.

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

In other words, you don't really have much in the way of an argument.

What's foolish about it?
How is it overpowered?
What's the problem?
Would it really make that much of a difference it was only 90%?

Hardly, but a logical debate is wasted on such a reply as "no, not really".

The fact that you can web down a target 97.5%
You can web a target for 97.5%
97.5% as opposed to 70% in the standard battery
Yes. Although the standard is 70%. You can pay 100mil for a 27.5% increase in webification power which will slow you to 2.5% of your original top speed. Does this seem not-op to you?

Yes. Now try to anchor it in the middle of a fight to have it make even the slightest bit of difference.

When POSes can start approaching you then I'd start complaining, otherwise don't try to solo POSes with your inty.

I'd suggest a Lazer-Fleet issue Scythe.

So don't make such silly arguments.

So what? What's the problem? What makes it foolish or overpowered?

Now we're getting somewhere. This is your only (incorrect) point. The rest is just noise. Still: so what? Why is this a problem?

Not really, no. What's overpowered about it?

Oh, and there's a difference between percent and percentage points. In terms of percentage, it's actually a 30% increase (or additional 90% reduction in speed).

I can picture it now, scorpion alts idling next to a POS feeding it rsebo 23.5/7 so that their traps can wreck anything that warps in and gets decloaked.

It seems that people have decided to focus on the fact that I said "stop an interceptor dead" and changed it to "Lol this guy POS bashes with interceptors!11!!1one!21!"

The point really is that you are talking about a POS module that can't move and if someone who can be killed as a result of getting webbed gets close enough to actually be webbed he deserves said death. Its a POS mod, when was the last time a web mod did anything other then slow a BS down for a few minutes before it was incapped?

Just noticed this on the Domination Stasis Webification Battery's attributes:

"Max Velocity Bonus: -97.5%"

Seems OP.

Take a look at the missile launcher info. It dates back to a time when missiles were overpowered.

POS modules are so outdated it really is sad.
