Different scripts, same mod

So I was reading about scripts and a thought struck my mind. If you use for example 2 "Optical tracking computer 1" (+optimal range and +tracking speed) you would be penalized. But If you fitted one with a optimal range script and the other with a tracking speed script would you still be penalized?

The "optical tracking computer 1" does:
+6% optimal range bonus
+12% tracking speed bonus

So with the penalization (purely hypothetic) lets say having 2 of them might result in
+10% optimal range bonus
+20% tracking speed bonus

But if I fit them with the scripts and there is no penalization, the results would be:

"optical tracking computer 1" with optimal range script:
+12% optimal range bonus
+0% tracking speed bonus

"optical tracking computer 1" with the tracking speed script:
+0% optimal range bonus
+24% tracking speed bonus

With would result in:

+12% optimal range bonus
+24% tracking speed bonus

Generally, stacking penalties applied to different module-originated instances of single parameter boosting. So, tracking scripted computer and optimal scripted computer won't be penalized against each other.

Stacking penalties don't apply to modules, they apply to effects. Each individual effect is stacking penalized based on other effects of the same type.

Thus with two tracking computers with no scripts you will suffer a penalty to both tracking speed and optimal range.
With one TC with a tracking script and one with range script no penalty is applied, you get both effects to their full value.
If you have one TC with a tracking script and the other unscripted, the tracking bonus is penalized (specifically, the bonus from the unscripted TC is reduced as it is the lower one), but the range bonus from the second TC will be applied in full.

As another example, if you have an invulnerability field and a resist-specific hardener, only that single resist bonus of the IF will be penalized. All other resist bonuses from the IF will be applied in full.

Yes, two separately-scripted mods give better overall stats compared to two unscripted mods.
That's because the script bonus is 100% and avoids stack-nerf of effects because the effect is different, while stack-nerfing of same effect on unscripted mods reduces effectiveness of the second one to ~87%.

P.S. Stacking penalties:
1 : 1.0000000000 <- no penalty for single mod
2 : 0.8691199806
3 : 0.5705831430
4 : 0.2829551534 <- borderline useful sometimes
5 : 0.1059926494 <- not good
6 : 0.0299911664 <- already pretty worthless
7 : 0.0064101831 <- practically pointless
8 : 0.0010349205
9 : 0.0001262127
10 : 0.0000116268
11 : 0.0000008090 <- this can only be acheived with 8 mods and 3 rigs, but as you can see it's negligible anyway

Or, if you prefer, ignoring the single mod, just remember the five rounded relevant ones : 87%, 57%, 28%, 11%, 3%
