What to do with future orca pilot while skilling up

I have my future orca pilot alt sitting in Ferox, providing mining bonuses for barges and plinking the occasional rat.

Is there anything useful I can do with him, beyond using a mining laser and filling up the really small Ferox cargo hold?

My Orca pilot trained for a Hulk, as there is very little difference in skill between a Hulk and Orca.

My future Orca pilot is in a Mack, was a Hulk but post patch now a Mack. As stated above there is not much difference in the skill tree from an Exhumer/barge to Orca. It's a progression. So I'd get him in a miner and make more isk. Lol

Mine. You need mining skills to pilot the orca ANYWAY.

What's the barrier for getting into one? Skill training time, or ISK?

Training time left for Orca and supporting skills is about five weeks. I'm still accumulating funds also.

I'm using a barge now for that alt. Thanks for the input.
