Greetings all,
I know there are probably a couple dozen good mining operation logging spreadsheets, and maybe a few more that calculate refining yield. I like to do things my own way, but sometimes people outside of my circle benefit from my point of view. You be the judge. If you can use it, great. If you can't or have something better, that's cool too. I am not trying to set a standard, just adding my notch to the market.

What this will do:
It is a template (which I made in open office). If you use Excel, you will probably get an error on the calculations because of the separators used are different in Excel and Open Office. By the way, if anyone wants to test it on Excel, I would be happy to work to fix it up for that program.

This is set up for high sec mining, (specifically in Gallente space). The ore's that I cover are
Veld, Scord, Pyro, Plag and Omber. You will see on the first page, the pilot logs (this spreadsheet handles 6 pilots) It is meant for smaller mining operations with a central foreman logging all the ore. As you put quantities in the pilot log, it will add them up (this sheet allows for 8 entries per pilot) if it goes longer than that, you would need to put the total on load 1 and then start again at load 2.

The sheet has a summary page (last tab at the bottom) that will show you the output from perfect refining as well as allow you to put in a mineral cost for payouts. How TERGO does there payouts is based on the highest market hub buy order. How you do it may or may not coincide with that feature and therefore you can disregard it.

The nitty-gritty is this. The refining calculations are done exact. That means, it will only output the yield to the batch. So...if you don't have a full batch, it will round DOWN.

Example:
veldspar batch = 333 = 1000 tritanium
If your total adds up to 333 you get an output of 1000 trit. If you have 333-665, you get an output of 1000trit – no more remainders.

This is set up for perfect refining skills with 100% yield and good standings so that the npc corp does not take any cut of it.

If you have any thoughts or ideas you think could be added or features that you would like to see
sent me a mail.

It looks nice. I would recommend re-writing it for those who do not use OpenOffice (a program I love), so you can get a wider audience and more responses. I'll provide more feedback when I get a better chance to look at it, currently at work.

Fair enough. I will try to find a copy of excel. I think one of the main things is the seperator in the refining formula in OO is ";" and in excel it is "," that might be the only difference. They should both have the FLOOR statement

Hey, im keen to try it as I am looking for a good spreadsheet. Only problem is I use Excel. If you you could change it to excel and maybe add a few more minerals (I'm in Amarr space) that would be great! Smile

Ok, let me see what I can come up with. Thanks for your input.
