lol jk. It is a really nice site and the articles are very well written. Eve news will either step up their game now that there's competent competition or they will remain **** and be completely embarrassed.

That'll be kinda hard when the Editor-in-Chief is an angry bitter-vet who has an agenda against 75% of the news makers in Eve.

Say farewell to EveNews24, I think. Nothing against him, but his site has probably outlived its usefulness now. Smile

Yeah that's how an "opinion piece" works.

Actually look like a good good site.

Pity about the name though, it makes it look like one sided commentary. Kind of like going to http://www.democrats.org to get balanced commentary on the USA democrats.

I am not saying the commentary is one sided but the name absolutely screams bias.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Well then we'll have to let the content speak for itself then won't we.

He's the most famous EVE Online player next to Chribba. Probably moreso because even people who don't, and never have played the game know the name. The name is clearly explained and makes a ton of sense:

"First off, the name. Nobody who knows much about Eve Online thinks that The Mittani himself is a shy or retiring individual who has to be coaxed into offering his opinion"

“The Mittani” has become a brand: one of the most recognisable and googled phrases or labels in Eve, it simply has recognition value that we would have struggled to create with anything else"

Even people who can't stand him still read his posts just to ridicule what he says. Same goes for the website Smile

The thought of you doing that gave me wood.

Back on topic tho, good site. I felt some bias on the exhumer rebalance article but that's alllowed as some people actually have opinions (yea, I know, wow!!). But comparing it to evenews24, still has a long way to go if it has any ambition of becoming a cesspool of idiocy where English grammar goes to die.

I just rechecked this site and now it just looks like a CFC propaganda site

The articles on the top atm are:

  1. Nulli Secunda Meeting: Staying In Venal
  2. Breaking: CFC Invasion of Tribute Begins
  3. The Off-Grid Boosting Argument
  4. Space Hubris: Losing Ships to Poor Choices
  5. Black Legion Welcomes Nulli Secunda to Venal
  6. The Fleet Commander's Lesson Book: Preparation
  7. On Killing
  8. Influence in the Sandbox
  9. IPO Dreams

Even in the few articles where they mention attacks against the CFC like with the steal bombers it always has a 'There is a way around this' note.

On other sites I have seen footage of CFC getting butchered at times. On this site there is non of this. While some sites seem slanted towards showing the CFC getting pounded, this site has already become a CFC propaganda tool for the CFC masses.

So what started so promising is already become 'Nothing to See Here'.

Shame really the site looks really nice.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Did you not read the hubris article? If youd like to read about a select few cfc getting butchered read that one. Also as far as I know the site will have as much "opposition" as they are willing to contribute. If you have something to say why not offer to contribute too?

There was also an article about NC.'s success in using Tier 3s to headshot cfc fleets and how the war in the north is changing pace. You seem difficult to please on this one. Dare I say youre being unfair?

Ok extracts from the Hubris article

"My current favorite story about this is the VFK cynogen, a source of constant kills for enemies of GoonSwarm Federation."
So yes it contains a bit about goon stupidity followed immediately by the words
"The losses themselves aren't what's important, because it's pretty easy to replace ships."

On to head shots

"CFC carriers have even fallen victim to Tornado alpha strikes."
Followed by "There are, of course, ways to get around this."

As to writing articles for that site, I think I have a better chance of looking at my pen and figuring out the mass of the Higgs boson.

Unfair possibly a little but the site has taken a side very quickly. There are no mentions of CFC mass slaughters, only small numbered ones.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

This thread needs to die, except Goons and their buddies keep bumping it.

Apparently the site needs some readership.

Yeah we should go out of our way to avoid looking like a "CFC propaganda site" and turn our site into EN24 in the process, stuffing it with filler articles and going out of our way to make up pet names for ad hoc coalitions like "Dot Bros"

also please point out a "mass slaughter" that has taken place between now and the time the site was launched that we didn't cover

Excellent. Very refreshing to read decently-written articles.
The story of Rydis is captivating and the first part write-up about Mining barge upgrades is in-depth and well-researched.
The site is now on my permanent "Eve Sites" folder. There are three entries in it.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Still, naming the website after mittens was dumb. They think the name is a brand and will draw in viewers like no tomorrow, but it will actually do the opposite. They had the chance to do something really well, and they did... up until they decided to goonify it. Thus destroying any credibility the news site will ever have for being unbiased and accurate news. Now, simply a joke. I laughed. Lol

Perhaps that was the plan all along, a CFC version of evenews24.

Yeah we should have gone with "EVE News Network" or something that makes you think "oh look another en24 clone" that'd have been the best route!
