I was.

I have to admit that I couldn't be arsed to see Cradle of Filth... but I did see Dimmu Borgir with the orchestra... and Hamferð (http://youtu.be/yP9ggSsalmw), the winners of the metal battle. Oh, and Ministry. And a frell-load of other bands.

There is a definate progression from blues & jazz into metal for some bands. I wonder what bands you listend to that gave this urge Twisted

Here is the Icelandic contribution - Gone Postal - to metal battle. They did good and their performance was solid.
