Howdy!

I am looking for any and all pilots who want to learn the in's and outs of life in 0.0 space. We have no recruitment requirements, and any ships that I put in harms way will be provided by me personally. While this is a "low risk" environment, there will be times when we will be going on roams and camps in 0.0 and even low sec.

Please feel free to contact me directly for more information. I would like to keep the corp membership high so there are plenty of people to fight with when online, and also so we can run effective frigate/dessie/cruiser gangs into 0.0 space.

No skillpoint requirements of course
New player friendly
Looking for pilots who always wanted to PVP, but were afraid of the cost/learning curve, or new people who just want to get a good start at it.

Still looking for good pilots who want to learn to PVP on someone elses dime. I know that this sounds too good to be true, and you are skeptical, as well you should be. Stop by our chat channel, IDMA, have a chat with us... or better yet stop by Ruvas solar system tonight and watch our frigate tourney we are hosting (01:00 eve time.. 8pm Central US time). We would love to have a bit of a crowd!

We had a great roam last night! Our newbies were able to get some good experience, and we were able to put a LOT of isk up on the killboard!

(for some reason this doesn't work as a direct link... copy and paste it into your browser, or right click and open in a new window to see it... not sure why eve forums are changing the link from tabbed views...)

All of the members of Ideal Machine Academy were in ships provided by me... so they risked nothing ... and they gained some amazing fleet combat experience.

Looking forward to seeing some people comment here or ask questions... also please don't hessitate to pull me aside in game and ask quesitons, just people realize if we are in an Op, my responses will be significantly delayed!

I'd like to add that I've recently joined the Ideal Machine Academy, and I have to say I'm really impressed with how it is turning out. I've learned a lot of things that I've never really understood, even though I've been playing on and off for years.

Toaulk has also made it very easy to develop PvP experience that I'd never have been able to afford alone, in an environment that's taught me the smart way to operate without any risk of losing isk.

In fact, not only has every question I've had been answered in an intelligent and insightful way, but he's helped me define my goals and paid for every skillbook, ship, or module I've needed along the way.

We recently did a training roam into lowsec that not only gave us first hand experience in PvP combat, but also insight into the smartest way to work in a team to accomplish what we set out to do. We were incredibly successful, all of us had help coming up with what we wanted to fit to our ships, and everything was completely paid for.

I can't wait to graduate and be accepted into our 0.0 corporation... while I've been told that it is in no way expected that I devote myself to them when I graduate, I really can't imagine having more fun with a different group of great people.

I, too, am a member of the Ideal Machine Academy. I'm very new to EVE and was accepted into the academy after less than a week of playime under my belt. Even though I was so new, there wasn't anything I was limited in doing. I first practiced pvp fitting by frigate dueling against many of the other members, where we all learned from each other and after a few tries, everybody's fits were drastically improved. I recently went on my first lowsec roam, where we netted a few kills, along with my first real pvp experience. This corp is friendly to both the new players wanting to pvp, and the older players wanting to try out this other aspect of the game.

My goals for EVE are to get pvp experience and eventually move into nullsec, so this corporation sounded like a great fit for me. Toaulk insists on paying to replace all of our pvp ships, so there is no risk involved in learning pvp in this corp. Our corp hangar is full of skillbooks, modules, and ships that everyone can use. Everyone is very helpful and will help discuss fits, training, and everything needed to get out to nullsec and survive out there.

I'd definitely reccommend anyone looking to get into PVP to join the 'IDMA' channel and chat with both us and our parent corp if you're thinking about joining!

Thank you both very much for that. I am glad to see you two have enjoyed your experience so far. I have gotten several messages regarding your comments on here, and I am very glad you put them up. Anyone else thinking about joining, feel free to fire way in here, or in IDMA chat channel, we will do our best to answer your questions!

Well, Ideal Machine Academy has been a raving success so far. We managed to roam into some pretty amazing kills last night!

http://kb.theidealmachine.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=3245
(for some reason this doesn't work as a direct link... copy and paste it into your browser, or open in a different window to see it)

Now.. i'm not going to lie.... that is the most unique and interesting kill I myself have ever been a part of. I don't want people looking into this corp to believe that we do that kind of damage all day... this was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Now, on the brighter side, we are now accepting EU applications! One of our Parent Corporations EU pilots has agreed to come train recruits with me during that time zone to bolster our presence in all time zones.

Please give us a shout in the IDMA chat channel, even if its just to poke your head in and say "hey.. nice kills".

Our High Sec home is Ruvas. Our 0.0 parent corp operates out of Syndicate.

Of course, as a training corporation, high sec is near a requirement. The point of initiating recruits is getting them the survival skills BEFORE they must survive.

We have quite a few roams under our belts, and we continue to go out and do operations, both in PVE and PVP to get everyone ready for life in 0.0.

If you have anything else, please feel free to ask!

Just a daily bump to remind people we are here, and we are still teaching people of all skill levels how to PVP!

We are still accepting applications and conversations for US and EU time zones. You are also welcome to join our public IDMA chat channel and just talk to us!

your kill board links aren't working, plus swing by the Great Wildlands sometime, we are always looking for good fights.

Sorry about that.. for some reason eve forums are killing direct links from different tabs.. works under open in new window and just as a copy/paste.... very odd.

As for "good fights" perhaps we could arrange a few in some vacant 0.0 system sometime. Otherwise we roam where we can and fight whom we can find. Thanks for letting me know the links were not working!

I wanted to drop back into our recruitment thread here and say we are still here looking for more people wanting to PVP.

We are considering moving our operation full time to null rather than spending any time in high, but this is only because it seems to be what people who join are enjoying the most.

If you have any interest at all, as I have said a few times now, please join our IDMA chat channel and check us out! Worst case scenario you figure out we are a bit more off our rocker than you anticipated, and you close the chat :-)

I was a returning Eve pilot with no clue where to go, until I saw Toaulk's message in Recruitment. "Blow up my ships!" I figured I couldn't go wrong. Glad I did.

I started off as a pure Indy pilot, and was looking for some change. These guys are helping me get more pewpew on.

Led to my first Nightmare kill! Hopefully Goons will keep supplying us with those, so it won't be my last... ;)

Other than the awesome kills that we get on our roams, these guys are pretty great. Just have to watch out for someone yelling, "Surprise!"... *eyes Miklos*

Thank you Meo for coming in and putting a word in. Just putting up another message to see if anyone would like to come join us. We are currently in the process of moving all of our operations to 0.0 space. We would love to see you in the chat channel IDMA, even if its just to say "you guys rock".
