I think it is time for CCP to improve these so called "Rookie" and "Career" Systems.

Sending an email about griefing is part of the game; right? Then why do you make these systems as a crutch for those who are not rookies? FYI - Get rid of them = Less bullsh*t for you.

Replace them with 1 new system for all of this.... a new system that allows players to be allow in those systems for at least 30 days. These systems will have between 4-5 belts. One Station with Tutorials for new players that opens up to Career Agents for their choosing.

Theses system is only allowed for those who are a new player/character.

If anytime a trial member leave that system; they can return again only if they still have 30 days and issue once leaving the systems that risks outside of this system will be extreme. After the 30 days the players assets and ships will be moved to the next system over including the player.

If its so easy to ban people from one system then do this to limit down the petitions and also make other people happy instead waiting 2-3 days to hear from someone or even 1-2 weeks.

Yh i totally agree, because how many pple actually read where we are actually aloud to grief. its common sense not to do it in the starter systems are. but thought every where else was aloud.

EVE should just insure rookies at 100%. They have to get used to pvp on way or another to decide if' it's for them. What better way than getting can flipped and taking the fight. They can learn what fits are effective while learning other things. The 100% insurance will prevent players from becoming disinterested in EVE after getting theirs A$$ flipped. I was can flipped as a Rook and it was an Invaluable experience. Lol

As a possible rookie (since their isn't a clear definition of one [8 days played]), I wholeheartedly agree. There should be a separate area for new players to learn the ropes, where veterans can't go - where the rookie is forced to leave after so much played time, where they can't interact with players on the market outside of the system, where if they leave, or when they leave, they can't go back - with any stored items being moved with them.

Personally, I was can flipped today, in one of the listed systems where that is illegal versus a rookie. I however didn't fight back, (was in a Badger) but I lost all the ore, as it was destroyed. The purpose was to grief me. But my employment history is the only way to see how long I have played - and I was told that many don't bother to check their targets. Now I believe in fair play. As in if their is a rule, it should be enforced, in a clear manner, clearly stated for all to see, not having to search forum posts or one section of a wiki to find it, and where it was enforced, for others to see who, what and why they got banned, a warning, etc. This may not be the real world, but in the real world, criminals lost their right to privacy (except minors), when they commit a crime.

If the purpose is to attract new players, and this rule was enacted to help with that, and it changed a long standing play style - they have not done a very good job with a rule that it was stated was strictly prohibited to break. I as a new player/victim have no way of knowing that my petition was dealt with. I have no idea if I am considered a rookie by their shadowy standards, I have no idea if I should petition again, and perhaps get in trouble myself, since I have no idea of what the end result was. The best way to fix this is to make it so IT CANNOT happen. Other MMO's, even older ones then Eve have done this. Where new players do not, cannot interact with older players inside of a starter area, where they cannot go back once they leave, where they are warned that they cannot do so once they do. Could even perhaps do a whole story, a prelude to the epic arc, where when a player leaves/forced to leave, they then choose their faction, etc and are warped to that factions starter area - where they are no longer rookies, and fair game.
