EVE Online: Inferno 1.2.4 - Extended downtime

EVE Online: Inferno 1.2.4 is currently being deployed. This patch will fix several smaller issues and introduces improvements to the User Interface.

Please note that the orginally scheduled downtime has been extended now to 12:00 UTC.

We apologize for any inconvenience and will keep you updated here in case of further changes.

I hope this means it won't show that damn Tutorial Icon in the Neocom each time you log in. Keep closing it and it keeps coming back, damn annoying, and unecessary. Knowing CCP tho, this could very well be some hidden button somewhere, that if you click it it will block tutorials completely (and then you can't even find it from the Neocom). Anything to annoy the customers as much as possible.. P

Do you realize how much of an ass-pain it is to continueously have to download new updates when you are running off of crap internet in the desert with limited download bandwidth? In a weeks time I have used up nearly a months worth. Thanks for pushing out a new expansion with so many bugs in it.

Are you seriously complaining about a company that actually makes new content and fixes problems? This is one of the only games that actually does those things.

I think he is refering to the continual lack of quality control, which is why they keep having to push out more fixes...one would have thought they'd more than learned their lesson over the years on how to quality test things so as to not have to fix soo many things ever 3 days....

I'm all for fixing things...but i'd be more for making sure things aren't pushed out broken...

I did it for a nearly a year myself, how about you get out of your tent...assuming you're in a tent, if you're in a damn chu/b hut/ w.e. stfu...and go work out, go socialize....

How longer is the downtime? I love how CCP fixes the bugs and stuff but still how long? Atlest the estimated time.

I'm complaining that they released the expansions without proper QAQC. It's great that they do fix their problems, unlike other companies out there. I just wish they would find all, or most of the faults prior to launching their product out to the masses.

No one is to blame but the players on singularity who are supposed to be reporting these issues.

well, all things said, i am not too upset about patches thrown out as they are. theres a lot of code to run through, 1 typo makes for a world of mess. i'm no programmer, but i'm sure even the best make their mistakes. at least they dont take forever to fix it like other games i've played.

side note, i do see an issue when on limited bandwidth. at the same time, most any game eats that up anyhow, its not easy when you have a cap on your internet sometimes. What?

plox to be removing stupid tutorial button.. I mean come on the help button already brings up the tutorial menu if you just click the tutorial tab.. overkill much?
