What happened to the Subscriber Loyalty / Rewards ?

Not too too long ago serious mention had been made regarding rewarding the long-term subscribers. No specifics had been mentioned other than vague mentions of tiering (1 year, 2-3 years, 4-5 years, each year after the 5th?).

So the subject says it all: what happened to this? The long-term subscribers need to know!

I thought there was a new emphasis on helping newer players, rather than older ones?

Chances are if you have played for 1 year or more you kwow your way around the game . So i don't see why ccp should help you. If you need something you should be able to get it yourself after 1 year of playing.

Bad posts are not welcome on these forums.  -CCP Falcon

I used to love the events that spanned the whole galaxy.

Like when something was gonna get added to the game it didnt just plop up in the market, there would be an event and the winners would get a head start or something.

You pay stupid amounts for your med-clone - there's your reward.

This probably would have been something involved with Incarna.

Furniture items, or a jacket, etc.

I think I know my way around the game. Cool Some of the new wrinkles I don't know ... but being an Old Fart has its priveleges.

This has nothing to do with seeking help because "EVE Online is too hard". I'm following up on a seeming promise made by CCP some time ago (less than 2 years, more than a year) as regards rewards specifically for the dedicated subscribers that don't cut and run whenever they get bored, letting let their subscriptions lapse. Roll

I would simply like to know if/when they intend to follow through on this promise. There's nothing else to the question being posited.

Kunming: I remember those rare times when the devs would interact with the unwashed masses. Serpentis rampaging in his supercarrier. Ambush / defend a Sisters of EVE mercy mission to Alderaa ... er, somewhere in null-sec or low-sec. Many many more besides these two from dim memory.

LCO: ^__^ Stupidly expensive clones are a way of life.

EVE's been aiming at helping the new players for a loooong time. Us old farts that have seen it all are another group.

Syphon Lodian's hit the point on the head. Furniture, wierd clothes, what ever. Stuff only Old Farts get.

Reward for subscribing to eve online: you get to play eve online. Why is this even a discussion?

Why is requesting a follow-up on a topic of development in the aftermath of [redacted] NOT a discussion?

What could CCP possibly give you that would satisfy you yet wouldn't give you further advantage over newer players?

Why do you need CCP to give you something for subscribing? They already let you take up space on their game.

Although, I wouldn't be against the idea of pink pimp hats and canes.

I'm over 3 years old, what's your point? What I have I've gotten for myself, not some happy handout for sticking around longer than your average theme park gamer. I've gotten to start my own corp, recruit people, help new players, be in some great fleet fights, explore low and null sec, dip into wormholes, fly lots of different ships in lots of different situations.

Do you really think a piece of crappy space barbie furniture even touches that? They should put a notice on the log in screen saying 'Leave your entitlement at the door, it's not wanted here'
