OP,

Feeding the new player base to the existing customers as fodder is a profitable business plan, you should not complain about other companies plans for massive profit.

If you wanted the contents of those cans why did you jettison them?

I drain ducks of their moisture for sustenance.

We are one. You cannot grief us. We are the care bears and we own this game. Force us off and our wallets will ensure Eve's downfall. Long live PvE.

Never fear though, CCP Greyscale is working on your behalf, so give it a few years.

To play EVE you have to be pretty insane. I tried to bring in EVE few of my friends but after the first hours of confusing tutorials, scams, griefings and the countless "gtfo of MY game" ... they loled at me and left. Then I was can fliped by a Iteron 5 who also burned down my very first catalyst and left me without anything valuable on me except a brand new Velator. Then my trial period expired, so I subscribed. I'm insane.

Awww poor OP welcome to Eve, home of the biggest collection of scumbags, thieves, liars, conmen and downright evil folks outside of politics, you will find no sympathy here.

Robbing people blind is traditional here, if it's not allowed in any other MMO it's probably allowed here which is the reason the majority of us play. The game itself weeds out people that just can't deal with human nature and no it doesn't discourage noobs, I described Eve to a friend a while back when he was looking for a new game. I bumped into him the other day and he's just completed his trial & subscribed(never asked me for a buddy invite so no free stuff Sad). I asked what he thought and his answer was that he loved it it, precisely because it was a true sandbox with very few limitations on what you can and can't do and that the Devs don't hold anybodies hands.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

^ "home" to scumbags? No, you're just a small vocal minority who needs to be purged from this game. Undesirable street rats.

Ban PvP in high-sec, put Concord presence in lowsec, and cut off 0.0 to prevent them from affecting us normal players.

Did someone from a salvage corp complain about people salvaging?

1. Salvage is available to everyone, it's only criminal if you steal the loot inside the wreck. if you want the wrecks so much run missions as a team with a noctis... hell it will get you ready for making some real isk.

2. Its not like ninja salvagers are everywhere, just don't run missions in place like Aunia which is a well known mission hub. Where all the salvagers congregate to steal from mission runners.

3. Get a backbone and try some anti ninja tactics. Aggro the whole room and warp out, shoot your own wrecks or set all the wrecks blue so ninjas after pvp will leave. There are loads of tactics for dealing with em. Wreck shooting and something witty in local helps (make sure it is actually witty though, yo mom jokes are not witty.)

4. Move up in the world, stop running missions...trust me there are a lot of ways of making isk, hell get set blue to an alliance, move in and the isk will roll in, and if your away from the borders it's safer than HS (if it ain't blue and its in local it's gonna kill you.). There are a lot of alliances recruiting and some of them are trustworthy and wont scam you (yes i am looking at you goons, in the corner...grinning.).

Seriously Eve is a harsh game and it's why it's still going when most mmorpgs are loosing players, and WoW is one that's losing players now. It has more personality than most

OK, PvP in hisec is banned. How do Amamake, Rancer, or Old Man Star sound as our new market hubs?
CONCORD is in lowsec ... they still can't protect you from getting ganked. You (still) won't go there.
0.0 is cut off from hisec. No more T2 mining crystals for you. Or any other T2 goodies for that matter.

Hmm, didn't think about the consequences of your proposal, did you?

Also, you're giving Miners/Industrialists as a group (of which, I am part -- see my certificates* if you need proof) a bad name.

*Have to do this ingame, apparently they're not on spacebook.

Actually you got that entirely wrong, I'm a PvE/industry player , but I accept that Eve is full of various nefarious types and deal with it.

You know there was this hilarious and awesome mission chain that I keep getting for the theology council in Amaar where it does directly feel like actual pvp what with canflipping, ganking, idiots who think they can own you in a rookie ship, and more.
I suggest you go and play it through because it is so entertaining.
Though I think it should be added to the tutorial as a clear "This is EVE, either hide behind someone else or rip fire from the gods and slaughter your opponents with overwhelming force and continue to do so forever."
I'm still working on the latter

... Really a thread complaining about can flipping. Who uses jet cans any more now that the Retriever/Mackinaw are flying jet cans? Is your next thread going to be on how CCP needs to remove Anaconda/Python mines, or the nerfing of the highway system?
