I wonder anyone has the same situation.

what I see is GPU usage stays at peak inside station and out in the space, and since in the login page , even i switch to performance optimization, or close all effects. But the point is: EVE works fine on my computer before!

My fps is down to ~45, and dips even further under stress. I was rock solid at 60 fps while running 2 clients prior to 1.2 (actually I just REALLY started to notice it since 1.2.3).

Same problem, there is a few threads talking about this problem. I notice my CPU spikes quite a bit I dont know if its related to the problem but I have a hunch it is.
I used to dual box just fine, now it just pauses constantly, making any kind of PVP extremely risky.

I also noticed a big drop in performance and increased cpu usage. Prior to today, i could smoothly run EVE and stream video on my 2nd monitor, but now the video stutters quite a bit and the game seems a bit choppy. GPU usage doesn't seem to be any different now than it was before.

I've been trying to single out the issue, my FPS is optimized in dock (what it used to be in game). It seems to have something to do with rendering, because, for example, Planetary Ineraction scans now take around 6 seconds to pop up after I click on my extractors, when it used to be instantaneous. Log in is slower as well.

Tech Stats:
AMD FX8150 8-Core
8gb RAM
AMD Radion HD 6800 series
Windows 7 64-bit

Task Manager has eve using 6-10 (it jumps between) percent of my CPU.
My total RAM usage is 3.7 (about 1.5 of that goes away when EVE is closed)

DEVs - if there is any other important tech information, please let me know.

Are any of you using google chrome? I almost always play with at least few tabs open and never had a problem...I switched to another browser today, and it seems to have alleviated some of the choppiness.

I noticed a marked increase in performance after this latest patch today, 1.2.5. My CPU does not seem to spike as high anymore. Anyone notice similar?

Noticed that after this patch my client took almost a minute just to get started and stop responding at one point..... Now it seems my entire computer is slowed down a bit. My FPS is perfectly fine, just the general slow down of my computer and problems on start up.

Specs

XFX 6870 AMD Radeon 1 gig Vid card
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Proc at 3.2 Ghz
8 Gigs of Corsir DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit.

Did you try clearing the cache and doing a HD defrag and maybe a scandisk too?

(sorry if this doubles - tried to post before and it disappeared)

I did all that an more - did a complete clean re-install of EVE. I checked my HD and defragged. I've retested my hardware for performance (using FurMark) and got the same benchmarks I've had before - so I don't think it's a hardware issue.

After the re-install my load times seem to be marginally improved, and the stutter is down a bit in space. However, there is still big lag when opening market, planetary interaction scans, opening the in game browser, and occationally just random freezes/stutters. I get frequent stutters of 3+ seconds, and a couple times a day I get a 'soft' freeze where the game stops responding and I have to press CNTL+ALT+DEL to unfreeze it (it takes a good 10-15 seconds for that to respond).

My FPS is still lower than it used to be. The game is playable, but more frustrating.

CCP's NEW ISP FIXED MY ISSUES!

I just saw the post that CCP switched ISP (or whatever it was it said). As of right now my issues are MUCH improved. I'm pretty sure that the lag I was experiencing was due to some kind of issue there. I hope that they don't switch back...
